Great day since Morris weighed in with his usual "sky is falling" for Republicans. If he told me the sky is blue, I would go check. When has he been right? What amazes me that there are any Freepers who still believe what he has to say! Once a Clintonite, always a Clintonite!
Yet to figure out how Foley who resigned immediately is going to affect races in places like Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, etc. I would say if you are a gay candidate in a Red State, you are doomed. Other than that, it shows by Hastert telling him to resign, that Republicans stand for values. Last I checked the Dims are still supporting Barney Frank and others.

And once again, the arrogant leaders of the Congress circled the wagons and looked the other way to avoid investigating or even recognizing the child abuser in their midst.
Although there are a couple of things I still think Hastert could have handled better...I don't see much in the way of 'circling the wagons' going on now or evidence that it happened beforehand either.

As I recall the Dems GAINED seats in the 1998 elections. Yeah that Lewinsky scandal really hurt them that year. /s

"There is no nail"- a matrix inspired comment.
This is pure tripe at the end of the day...those that have voted to defeat dems in the last several elections will not have changed their vote. So, like all past elections...the dems lose.

Dick Morris is about as useful as an accordion on a deer hunting trip. He is a paid entertainer who pretends to know things. The Drive-By Media is trying to turn this into something bigger than a Gay Republican, and they are succeeding largely because we continue to play along.
We should not accept their premise, it should always be turned back onto Foley, he is responsible for his actions, not anyone else.

Foley scandal is the nail in the GOP coffinWhat a total crock.
We intend to vote in every election and we will vote Republican because the alternative is scary.
Plus we have no intention of CUTTING OFF OUR NOSE TO SPITE OUR FACE by not voting.

This guy is a little too optimistic in his rant. All elections, whether federal, state, or local are decided on local issues, so this guy is off-base!

Republicans kick out their sick deviants while democrats celebrate theirs to the extreme point of Bill Clinton pardoning a democrat convicted sexual pedophile predator, Mel Reynolds.

Great News! Since Dick (man, that name fits him) is never right, I just breathed a huge sigh of relief.
We all have to remember this is the guy who worked for BJ before he worked against him.

Clarice on
Macsmind blog writes:
Dick Morris just said on FOX that a respected reporter told him that she has proof that a senior democrat member of congress knew about the IMs months agounlike Hastert.
Thats too juicy not to get out there.
Morris is protecting the reporter who is aiding a child predator.

One more pious member of the Moral Majority, one more legislator who makes a career out of fighting for values and crusading to protect children turns out to be a hypocrite and an abuser himself! Foley is a pious member of the Moral Majority?
He obtained good voting records from abortion and gay rights groups.

There should be a little truth-in-advertizing here. My question to Mr. Morris is how many RAT candidates is he working for this election cycle?
