You know for some reason that scene from Airplane keeps popping to mind. The one at the beginning where the announcement is repeated over and over that the white zone is for loading and unloading of passengers and there is no stopping in the red zone. Later the same two voices begin and argument about abortion over the loudspeaker. Funny stuff.
What if our entire transportation economy moves to ethanol vehicles? The sandal-maker is going to be busy...

What happened to that thing about the cab driver not being able to refuse to take you to where you want to go?
I say they want to pick and choose their fares? Too damn bad. This is America. They want to pick and choose their fares then they should go back to the third world sh!$ hole they came from.
I, for one, never want to ride in one of their stinking cabs again. A few days ago I was in line at the airport and was put in a cab with an Osama look alike, complete with a flowing white robe. Next time I'm going to refuse to get in the cab.

And now that I think about it, if they're going to refuse to cart around anyone bearing booze, what about pork products? Or scantily clad (unburkahed) females? Where does this stop?

In other words two wrongs do not make a right. Some prosecutors and courts were wrong in not pursuing some cases, and the Civil Rights laws passed in response make a mockery of the Constitution.
The city ought to refuse to grant them a license.
How about ,Minneapolis stop issueing hack licenses to Muslims, Let them go back to their sand piles.
Personally I like the idea of sending them to the back of the line if they refuse to carry a passenger. Can we also send them to the back of the line if we don’t want to be carried by them?

Once the new rule kicks in, and the Islamic cabbies start going broke, I wonder how long it will take the ALCU to take everyone to court because…… Then the unelected, responsible to no one, master of us all, the black robed American Talban, will find it illegal and we will have to take a percentage of our taxi trips in cabbies owned and operated by the following minorities, islamic, afro-american, GLTG, and the list goes on, and on, and on, and…..
I have always wanted a polite way to avoid patronizing a religious muslim zealot. From now on, when catching a cab, I will ask if it is alright to carry a flask of alcohol in my jacket.
