Wow, I wonder if she actually thinks she's fooling anybody, or if she's just saying this out of obligation.

It's Bullshit. *

BULLSHIT*

The headline is entirely accurate. It just needs to be clarified that they're trying to stop millions of dead people from voting.

We commit to ensuring that everyone who is eligible to vote is able to vote, and that every vote is counted: "Whether the voter is dead or alive!"

Lost in all her rhetoric about all the votes that will be suppressed, is exactly HOW this will cause that. She never seems to get to that part.

This entire speech only makes sense if she's talking about people who are not supposed to vote in the first place.

The Republicans need to grow a pair and say from the senate floor "Yes, we are trying to suppress some peoples ability to vote. Illegal voters. Something the Democrats are not very concerned about."

Thanks. And, to make it more enticing to purchase those items specifically at the polling places (assuming it can be done legally), sell the items at a HUGE discount (75%). Get some conservatives/Repub groups to foot the loss. Or would that be considered "buying votes"? Crap, I hate design reviews.

I think the idea doesn't meet our standards for supressing votes as Pelosi accuses us of. The booze, cigs and titty mags requiring i.d. would bring out more Democratic voters and we don't want that.

Their very flimsy argument is that it costs money to get a photo ID and therefore that is an unconstitutional poll tax. In Ohio it costs $8.50 for 4 years.

"Every eligible American citizen must be able to exercise their right to vote, and have their vote counted. "

That's fine......how about if they are required to PROVE they are American Citizens?

"What's your major malfunction, numbnutz?"

Technically, she and the judge are right; there is no requirement in the founding documents for an ID to vote. They must not have considered fraud (at the current levels) back then; an unfortunate oversight, in hindsight. So the "unconstitutional" part of her and the judge's argument is 'correct'. But what's funny is here is a constitutional issue that they want backed without any argument or questioning; done simply on belief ("Because.") However, let's talk 2nd Amendment. Hmmmm, no blind faith acceptance of THAT one. Typical hypocrites.

IIRC 'brainless' Pelosi has to WEAR photo ID just to get into the building where her office is.

So she wants proof of voter fraud with documentation, huh?
You can also ask Bob Dornan how voter fraud works too, Pelosi.

Voter fraud, again!
A very good friend of mine, who shall remain nameless, has a long-time live-in housekeeper from Guatemala. The housekeeper has a daughter who just turned 18. The immigration status of both mother and daughter has been pending for years. Papers have been filed with the Immigration and Naturalization Service. Hearings have been held. But they are not citizens. This is very important: The daughter has not registered to vote. But, a few days ago, the 18-year-old got a very attractively packaged "Dear friend" letter from Bill Clinton, paid for by the California Democratic Party.

Here's what it said (on one side in Spanish and on the other side in English): "While every election is important, the November 7th election will determine our future for the next decade, and beyond. The stakes are high for America's Latino families. And California is the critical battleground.

All joking aside, I honestly believe that there is so much voter fraud that it has effected outcomes of many races, especially close ones. I also believe the dims knowingly promote and count on these votes.

Can anybody forcast the potential passage of this bill? Will the senate go along with it?

Hey, I don't care who votes, as long as they're legal. Hands down, the Pubs win in a fair election, always. (PS: good additional enticement idea with the titty mags; imagine that kind of magazine stand as you enter the polling place.)

Well, I just called her office, and got a "well the Republicans wouldn't fund the right to vote" bill.

Nice to know that we have adults in charge, isn't it?
