You discovered who you really are??? What in the hell is that supposed to mean?
Did you discover you were a pig?
Did you discover you were a liar?--how about a fraud, a security risk--did you discover you played while we are at war? Do you know men and women have died and are dying to protect your sorry ass?
Democrats--what a sorry lot.

a former Israeli naval officer, who caught my eye. Thats too casual a way to put it. My attraction to him was immediate and intense, and apparently reciprocated. Show it answers the rumors that are ever present in armed forces around the world, the Navy breeds and/or attracts uphill gardners, marmite miners, kakpipe cosmonauts, etc... I am LMFAO over this...thanks for the post!

I guess I don't understand certain things.
If we're supposed to be liberal and celebrate diversity, then why did he resign in "disgrace" if being gay is not disgraceful? And I wonder if his wife knew what he was?
To: Dilbert San Diego
And why does he say how the situation "ruined his marriage"? If he's so queer, he didn't really want to be married in the first place, or at least married to a female. I'm sure he's in favor of gay marriage.

The nuts in the media and academia have been working for a generation to fix their view of political correctness as the norm. It is NOT as you know, but the 43% of those who voted--and voted for obviously plastic and scum like clinton have bought into it hook, line and sinker. It is our burden and probably will be around a while.

To: Enchante
Him being gay has made him a hero of the left and kept him out of jail. He and the media uses it as cover for his corruption, just like the media used Monica to cover up Chinagate, Whitewater, travelgate, etc. Hide the corruption behind sex. Regardless of his gay ways, he is a crook and a thief, and should be locked in jail, although he might actually like that...

and helped me discover who I really am. A selfish pervert and prick, and someone who jeopardized the safety of New Jersey--a target-rich state--by putting his unqualified lover in charge of security. For that alone, McGreevey should now be serving 3-5 years in prison, per statute.
To: gafusa
Yes, near the end of the article he describes one of his advisors sounding ecstatic when McG told him he was going to "come out" - suddenly they had a perfect distraction for the MSM and Demagogues that would make him a hero (in their eyes) rather than merely another corrupt scumbag.

Don't worry, you can imagine just about all of it merely by thinking of any narcissistic hot air leftist blowhard (Bill Clinton, Howie Dean, John Kerry, John Edwards, Algore, etc.). My favorite part of the article is at the end when he is telling us how he resolved in his last days in office to strike a blow against corruption in NJ politics (he doesn't indicate whether he actually accomplished anything on that front)..... but his confession is most entertaining even if he waited until his political career was over (let's hope!) before making it:
"No one benefited from pay-to-play more than I did. Under my rule, the party had raised tens of millions from developers and lawyers who then were awarded handsome state contracts in return. The system, though perfectly legal, was morally corrupt and indefensible. Id taken a million ethical shortcuts to climb the ladder, all the time thinking that that was the only way to amass enough power to serve the collective good. But in the end Id done a great deal of damage."

...the key word in your post is "rumors" - as the great
American philosopher Mark Twain said many, many years
ago, "In live, 'tis best to believe half of what you
see and nothing of what your hear..." or words to that
effect.... I disagree very much with your post, in
general... I spent many years in the u.S. Navy, and, yes,
I served with angels, saints, whore-chasers, drunkards,
SOBs of every description, but no queers.... of course,
in those days (we were transitioning from coal to
oil power, I believe..... ARRRRGGGGHHHH, Matey....!),
if you were found out to be queer, you probably got the
s!!t beat out of you, but overall, my shipmates were all
straights... we sure did drink a lot of beer and chased
the ladies a whole Helluva lot....!!!!

a generation (Boot Camp - Summer, 1961....).
I served as a "skimmer" for most of my career (I think
the Silent Service calls us "targets"....), and was
proud of my Navy, proud of my ships, and proud of my

well, you can figure out the rest....).....

Love your post, you are senior by 12 years. You were and are targets. Although my skipper indicated that a towed array on the Spruance would have made her a formidable adversary. He knew his game I will take his word. Later brother.

No - in his case, it was his cover to keep from being indicted for corruption....being a bumpuncher is all the rage these days, so his ass got a pass, if you'll pardon the pun.
All the stuff that forced him to play the 'alternative lifestyle' card worked. He's home free, and a hero!

Why do some gays feel a need to give us way too much information???
McGreevey's "I am a gay American" revelation was meant for the New York Times, ABC News, CBS, etc., all heels-over-head in love with homosexuals. It got him off the hook (so to speak), endeared him to the media, and thus he fended off indictment by a state government even more corrupt than even he could ever dream of.
His obvious next stop: Oprah.
To: ElkGroveDan
at least he is admiting homosexuals are MADE and not born in his title.

Its the erotic becomes exotic.
The "parading" of their sexual choices in public is part of their sexual gratification.
They are the only group that wants special rights based on how they pop an orgasm.

I have the solution for world peace - let's just take Jim McGreevy and give him a luxury island resort with some of the world's worst dictators, Ah'm'a-whackjob, Assad, Nasrallah, Castro, Mugabe, etc. Let McGreevy and the nutjobs live out their days as the livin' lovin' "Brokeback Dictators"..... everyone should be happy.
That would be a WIN/WIN solution.
