>This network "has a different spirit. It has more community. It's more about information, about humor, about respect for different points of view and not constant arguing,"
Steinem told Reuters in an interview
... so, then, Gloria
Steinem threw the pilot off
the plane and she said,
"We do not need a
pilot. Hell, I know my way
around a cockpit!"

Didn't these liberal money backers see what a failure Err Amerika has been and continues to be. Just goes to reinforce the belief that they just do not understand capitalism.

Steinem: Women belong in combat!
Fonda: Where we can betray the male soldiers more effectively!
I'll do the network only if they bring me coffee and wear burkas.

...This network "has a different spirit. It has more community. It's more about information, about humor, about respect for different points of view...I somehow doubt that the pro-life women will be well represented.

"You mean an all liberal women radio network."You got that right. I wouldn't tune in and expect to hear them giving equal time to Ann Coulter, Peggy Noonan, Mona Charen, Michelle Malkin, or any other other conservative woman.

What's the over and under? My guess - 18 months.

These women couldn't attract male listeners with brautwurst, or donuts, or pizza, or beer.
Unless, of course, the men are metrosexuals or girly-men.
I once worked for a Truman type Democrat in MA. She used to say that the only thing she had in common with the Steinem types was where she bought their jewelry and perfume. She held them in very low esteem - and for good reason - they enjoy the idea of abortion - their one and only commandment.

Note to Steinem: The world needs a liberal women't station like a "fish needs a bicycle." ;)

Like they do with the national budget ("War on Poverty, ie) , just keep throwing money at it until the problem goes away. (lack of a substantial audience in this case)

Steinem said the network, which is run by women, aims to provide an alternative to current radio talk, which she describes as "very argumentative, quite hostile, and very much male-dominated."Hmmmmm. The pot calling the kettle black.
NAGs are surely argumentative, quite hostile and very much female-dominated
To: Wally_Kalbacken
Everyone seems so, well,
optimistic.
I was going to go out on a limb and say 6 months before stations drop them and under a year to fold.
But then, what do I know about radio, I only listen.
