Kill The Christian (Mel Seesholtz, Pennslyvania's Ward Churchill Alert)

This guy is an English professor? While I object to his comments and agenda, I have a more pragmatic question; what the hell do any of his articles and proposed courses have to do with English? His grammar is atrocious and his style runs more toward screed than structured debate. There are no references to literary works or style, so how is he teaching English? Sounds more like poli-sci. I know there are other issues, but I'd really like to see how colleges like Penn State justify this kind of deviation in what should be a core part of their curriculum.
