Be careful of what you buy in foreign foods.

I thought you read somewhere that a banana is a service, not a good. Ergo, a banana is not food.

I suspect one reason imports go up is because Americans like to eat, even unto the point of obesity. If all overweight Americans who could lose it by choice proceeded to go on a diet, who knows. We might be a net ag exporter again.
