It's easy to determine. Ask your wife or gf to turn on the TV and hook up the DVD palyer and make sure it has surround sound. Good luck.

I did all this :-) - we have an HDTV and I'm also the one who does all the connecting of the family video camera for playback etc. through the correct inputs.

I also know that "palyer" should really be spelled "player". Ha!

I have don't have a computer tech degree but I completely rebuilt a computer from scratch and gave it to my husband once.

It was a blast watching peoples reactions when I told them about it.

But then again, I have had several men say I'm too smart for them.

I never understood exactly what that meant./s LOL.

:)

I think it's entirely subjective to the individual. As a generalization, historically men have more frequently been afforded the benefits of education. Women possess the same intellect and potential, it just may be that culturally it is as of yet fully explored.

"LOL! That statement proves you to be a VERY intelligent man!"

Yes, smart enough to give the golden apple to Athena, not Aphrodite. I figured Athena would give me her gifts and help me figure out how to get Aphrodite's and Hera's gifts too. She did.

Oh yeah? A woman as smart as my wife can see though flattery with instant and unmitigated clarity.

There's no point in trying to manipulate or obfuscate. One of her classic statements is: "You fooled your mother, but you don't fool me." She's right.

On the other hand, surround yourself with brilliant people, and it's like having a telescope or a microscope or a computer or something all the time. You can see further and know more.

Not only that, but what is the love of a woman, if it results from flattery--or any other kind of dishonesty or trickery? No, the only love worth having is the love for you--not some illusion that you conjure up--the love for you, with all your falts, all your imperfections, your insecurities exposed for her to see--and she still loves you--and you love her. That's love.

But also--and maybe best of all!--nothing turns me on--in any other way, including sexually--than intelligence. No. There is one thing--love!

I should have said with ruthless clarity.

"Men Smarter than Women, Scientist Claims"

Even if this were true, it ignores the basic truth of statistics. Consider;

Swedes are taller than Italians but Italian basketball players are taller than Swedish jockeys.

For the mass of us the differences within our groups are greater than the differences between the groups whether we are discussing sexes, races, ethnic groups, religions or sports fans.

Statistical analysis should be a required course K through 12

men have larger brains than women

But a woman can turn a man's brain into mush.

I agree. There is a lot of conservative values bashing on this site by liberal trolls, and libertarians.

Then how come "men" are demoncrats?

And some women are conservative Republicans?

You are special. When ever I talk about a group, whether it is teachers, Democrats, plumbers etc. I am talking about the mid point plus/minus one standard deviation. For example if the average IQ is 100 then 67% of the people in the group are within 90 to 110 IQ.

There are always exceptions to generalizations.

Would one of you guys please explain what this means?

I think it should read: Anyone is smarter than a Democrat.
