Hiya ct. I thought about you when I read this story. LOL. We’re fine, enjoying getting used to this southern weather.

We need rain.

We’re both working and plugging along. Blessed I’m sure.

The dogs are good, no recent escape attempts. I think the prison fence we built did the trick. :-)

Thanks for asking.

And you?

Hi Snippy. How are things here? Well, we have rain, that's for sure. The reservoirs are full and everything is turning green, so we have our fingers crossed that the drought may finally be over.

All the end of school year stuff is going on, so soon the kids will be out on vacation. Where did the time go?

Politics has been depressing. The Owens administration did as much for Colorado Republicans as the Clinton Administration did for national Democrats, LOL! There is some talk of our becoming a blue state, but I don't believe it. We're still the majority party. We just have to grow some new and better leaders and get back after it.

Yeah, what is it about all the lefties moving out west. Of course Washington and our old home, Oregon are overrun. You can imagine our joy at finally living in the South. It is soooooo different here. Of course all the Yankees moving down hopefully will conform so the South doesn’t lose it’s goodness.

Sam is working now in retail and he says all the customers call him by his first name, shake his hand, introduce themselves, etc.

The pace is slow, takes some getting used to. Folks like to talk, they don’t just have “drive by” greetings, they like to talk a spell.

The neighbors and their children say Mr. or Miss before your first name. Quite a different society, a politer one. Refreshing to say the least. It’s also more conservative, more integrated and everyone gets along.

I don’t know if we can keep the West western. It’s a shame.
