MILWAUKEE - Police have arrested one more suspect in the sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl on Milwaukee's north side.
A 16-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy have already been charged with assisting in the crime and a 40-year-old man is in custody, accused of raping the young victim in a home near n. 6th and Vienna.
According to the criminal complaint, the girl says she performed oral sex on as many as 15 boys and had sex with several of them, including the 40-year-old.
The 11-year-old girl has HIV. Her mother died of AIDS.
The incident sparked community outrage. North side Alderman Michael McGee said, "We really have to hold those accountable who committed this horrendous crime. There's outrage and as stakeholders in the neighborhood, we gonna find out who all had a part in this situation."
Police expect to charge additional suspects.
When you think this whole affair could not get uglier, it does.
What a sick, sick, sick society we live in.
Don't worry. Someone will be along shortly to claim she was "throwing herself" at the boys. The "Father of Lies" is always at work.
This kind of thing is probably common in less developed nations.
As sick and horrific as this crime is, and at the risk of sounding uncaring ( which I am not ) I can only hope that somehow she managed to pass the HIV along to all who were involved. That would be equal to a death sentence, which all involved deserve.
The inner city and there's very little outrage from citizens there; some are even supporting the boys involved!

Same thought here. Maybe nature will do what the courts won't. I'd be surprised if the younger ones even get jail time.
sounds to me like the girl is mentally unstable and her "friends" took advantage of that. i somehow doubt the 15 number, but i dont doubt she was raped by a 40-yr old. just sick and sad.

The numbers are probably accurate. This sounds like it was some sort of gang initiation.
Milwaukee's inner city is a cesspoool. People generally don't care as long as the thugs only prey on their neighbors.

Barrett is a really nice guy, but not very politically astute.
And I forgot to add......not a very good Mayor. Lot's of viloent crime (black on black) in Milwaukee and the business climate sucks...other than that.....
They sexually assaulted an 11 year-old with HIV? If those bastards end up with AIDS it will be more proof that there IS a [reference to diety ruled unconstitutional by the 9th Circus Court of Appeals].
