Thanks for your very thoughtful post.

Your final statement, "I support the war. I do not support how it has been conceived, communicated or conducted." deserves further comment.

I too support the war. It is much bigger than simply fighting Islamic fascism on it's soil instead of ours. If a stable and modern nation can be created in the Middle East, uninterested in exporting terror to the west, it has the potential to bring the whole Islamic world into the modern era.

If Iraq can be transformed, perhaps Islam itself can be transformed. An Islam that believes the proper way to strive for men's souls is through the mind, not the sword, would be welcome in the world.

Likewise, I agree with your belief that the war could have been better conceived, communicated, and conducted.

Of the three, communications were the weakest link. President Bush is simply not the gifted communicator that President Reagan was (or even, shudder, President Clinton). But this is a given that cannot be changed.

Which leaves how the war has been conceived and conducted.

As to how the war was conceived:

No one disputes the intial victory over Saddam was brilliant. In spite of the last minute betrayal by Turkey, we achieved a truly remarkable victory.

The complaints come from dissastisfaction with the plans for Iraq AFTER defeating Saddam. With the benefit of 20/20 hindsight, it certainly appears we under-estimated how difficult it would be to block sectarian violence.

I'm sure someone can be found who can truthfully say, "I told you so," but that is irrelevant. The facts are, war is ALWAYS unpredictable. The focus should not be on the failure to predict. The focus should be on what to do NOW.

Which brings us to your third point: How the war has been conducted.

In my view we made some mistakes in the way we have conducted the war. A key strategic error was not killing Al Sadr and destroying his militia when we had the chance.

Al Sistani reportedly blocked the elimination of Sadr, and I can understand why we bowed to his wishes. But, in hindsight, we should have killed Sadr and wiped out his militia anyway. The message sent to the other warlords in Iraq would have been crystal clear.

The second strategic error was not sending a message in Fallujah. In my view we should have leveled the part of the city that held out at the end, and not built it back. Then, we should have maintained absolute control of the parts of the city we allowed to be built back. Just as with the elimination of Sadr, the message would have been crystal clear.

Instead, we sent the opposite messages.

Now Sadr is back, and much stronger than before. Fallujah is essentially back in enemy hands. Sistani is much weaker. And sectarian violence is running rampant.

So I'd have to say I agree with you on your last point: The war could have, and should have, been conducted better.

Given the political foes President Bush was/is faced with at home and abroad, perhaps he felt he could not act as forcefully as the situation called for. Or, perhaps his advisors were trying too hard not to make the wrong people mad.

Regardless of the reasons, all of this is water under the bridge. The real question is WHAT DO WE DO NEXT?

Right now the initiative is with the other side. So, at least until the enemy's next move has played itself out, we really have only one option: Be ready, and react quickly.

Longer term, we have only three options:

1. Cut and run from Iraq. This would be a clear defeat for the U.S. and lead to immediate catastrophe in the Middle East. Shortly thereafter an enormous portion of the world's oil supply would be under the control of barbarians. And, shortly after that...

2. Strengthen our forces in Iraq enough to win no matter what happens. This will only work if Iraq can be strengthened enough to eventually stand on its own.

A massive increase in troop levels may not be possible without a domestic draft. The Democrats are salivating for a draft, expecting that to be so unpopular that their return to power would be assured. Perhaps that is why the Bush administration has not asked for one.

3. Win with what we have. This seems to be the path chosen by the Bush administration. If we truly stand on the threshold of the "Iraq Tet", and we emerge the clear winner, then perhaps the other side will be weakened enough that this will work.

To sum up:
Option #1 is a dead loser.
Option #2 might work, but could easily result in domestic political disaster and hence long term failure.
Option #3 has not worked yet, but still might. If it does not work, it too will result in domestic political disaster.

Regardless, if the Democrats win either of the next two elections we will be forced into Option #1.

Option #1 would mean much more than a U.S. defeat in Iraq. It would lead inexorably to the clash of civilizations the Bin Laden's and Ahmadinejad's of the world have been trying to start, and we have been working to avoid.

I think Islam would ultimately lose that war, and might even be completely destroyed in the process (as it would deserve to be).

But such a war would also be the worst war the world has ever seen.

Paper says it has unseen video by Atta

A previously unseen video made by Mohamed Atta, ringleader of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the United States, has been obtained by Britain's The Sunday Times, the newspaper reported Saturday.

In editions available late Saturday, the paper said it had been handed the so-called martyrdom video, but did not reveal the source of the tape.

It reported that Atta was filmed reading a document marked in Arabic as a will as he sat beside fellow hijacker Ziad Jarrah — who seized control of United Airlines flight 93, which crashed into a field in Shanksville, Pa.

The newspaper said that a timecode stamp on the videotape indicated it had been recorded on January 18, 2000 and the recording was made at an al-Qaida training camp in Afghanistan.

There was no soundtrack, the newspaper said. It quoted an unnamed U.S. source as saying that attempts to lip read the tape to transcribe the content had been unsuccessful.

The recording could help resolve questions over Atta's whereabouts in January 2000, after he fled his home in Hamburg, Germany.

Osama bin Laden is also shown on the hour-long video addressing supporters at a site in Kandahar, Afghanistan, the newspaper reported. It said a timecode stamp indicated the al-Qaida leader was speaking on January 8, 2000.

Preliminary analysis of Zawahiri 9/29/2006 video courtesy of Laura Mansfield:

The video released yesterday by Al Qaeda second-in-command Dr. Ayman al Zawahiri was supposed to be a ranting attack against the US administration, with vitriolic jabs at President George W. Bush, and was intended to influence the US public just a month before the 2006 interim elections.

Instead the video gave the appearance of an organization that has become distracted and is on the run.

It’s interesting to note that in the first portion of the tape, Zawahiri wears a white robe with a black turban and scarf; but in the second and third portion of the tape he wears a white turban.

It’s surprising what can be gleaned from a mere 18 minutes or so of video tape.

The first ten minutes of the tape containing the diatribe against Bush is recorded in what appears to be some sort of studio, like the last several Zawahiri tapes, with proper lighting and what is most likely a chromo-key backdrop. That portion of the tape has English subtitles.

The backdrop features a white flag containing the words “There is no God but Allah; Mohamed is the Messenger of Allah” in Arabic, as well as a small cannon to the left of Zawahri pointed to the right. There is a light on the left as well.

Approximately ten minutes into the tape, when the portion discussing Bush ends abruptly, a dramatic shift in video quality is seen.

The remaining two segements of the three-segment tape are videotaped in front of what appears to be a sheet of brown fabric. Although Zawahiri wears a microphone, the lighting is of a much poorer quality, as is the sound quality, resulting in a dramatically different appearance for Bin Laden’s lieutenant.

Based on the way the hanging fabric backdrop moves, it is possible that this portion of the tape was filmed outdoors.

The tape, which was released just two weeks after the remarks by Pope Benedict XVI regarding Islam, gives the appearance that the first portion was complete and ready to release, but that the statements of the Pope compelled Zawahiri to film a postscript of sorts to address those comments.

The fact that Zawahri did not film the portions of the tape dealing with the Pope and Darfur in his studio may indicate some sort of time pressure to get the tape out on schedule. It also seems to demonstrate the existence of some sort of logistical issues in reaching his usual studio or having a cameraman with a portable studio come to his location.

This is further evidence by an examination of the digital signatures of the different portions of the tape, which indicates that they were filmed using two different camera types.

In addition to examining the tape itself, a review of the content of the message is also somewhat different that previous Zawahiri messages.

The first ten minutes or so of the tape was devoted to the diatribe against President Bush, with Zawahiri calling him a liar repeatedly, as well as a charlatan, and claiming that he is lying to the American people about the “disasters they face in Iraq and Afghanistan”.

In each tape, Zawahiri, who has never been a Bush supporter, seems to become bolder and more overtly hostile to President Bush, this time spewing insults at the President repeatedly..

He stresses over and over that the US could not possibly have gotten any valuable information from captured Al Qaeda mujahid Khalid Sheikh Mohamed. In fact, after listening to his repetition of this claim several times during the first few minutes of the message, the phrase “me thinks he doth protest too much” comes to mind.

Instead of convincing the world that no information has been obtained from Khalid Sheikh Mohamed, Zawahiri gives the impression that valuable intelligence has in fact been obtained, and that it has hurt his organization.

Zawahiri shows that he is in touch with western media reports, echoing the sentiments of the American anti-war movement, claiming that the reasons that Bush cited for going to war with Iraq were fabricating, citing the failure to find nuclear weapons in Iraq and the lack of evidence linking Al Qaeda with Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein.

Zawahiri implies the existence of current Al Qaeda terror attacks in the US on a daily basis but offers no proof or even specific information about these alleged attacks in this statement: “But, by the grace of God, we are taking revenge on their behalf on a daily basis from your soldiers and the soldiers of your allies and agents in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, the Arabian Peninsula, and all Muslim countries from Indonesia to Morocco and even in your own country every day.”

The Bush portion of the tape appears incomplete; it is likely that we will see more of this tape at some point in the future.

The remaining seven minutes of the tape discuss the Pope’s comments, and make reference to the situation in Darfur, Sudan.

Zawahiri calls the Pope a charlatan, and compares him to Pope Urban II, who launched the first Crusade in 1095. Zawahiri threatens the Pope with the same fate as that of Urban II, which is somewhat confusing considering that Pope Urban II died fourteen days after Jerusalem fell to the Crusaders.

Zawahiri accuses Pope Benedict of blaspheming the Prophet Mohamed. He claims the Pope has forgotten that the book (a reference to the Bible) “does not have an authentic source and did not descend on Jesus”.

He accuses the Pope of pretending to forget that “Christianity cannot be accepted by a sound mind because it includes superstitions like the trinity, the crucifixion, redemption, the original sin, the infallibility of the pope, and the church's forgiveness of sins.”

In the segment on Darfur, Zawahiri tells the Muslims of the region that they must stand up against the “Zionist-Crusader threat”, which their own government is too weak or corrupt to withstand.

Full translation of Zawahiri 9/29/2006 video, courtesy of Laura Mansfield

In the name of God, praise be to God, and may peace and prayers be upon the Messenger of God, his family, companions, and allies.

Muslim brothers everywhere, peace be upon you and the mercy of God and His blessings.

The murderer and spiller of Muslim blood, Bush, has stated that he has secret prisons, in which he holds the dangerous leaders of the group of Qa'idat al-Jihad, including the mujahid brother Khalid al-Shaykh Muhammad, may God free him, and he has stated that during the three years after Khalid al-Shaykh Muhammad's arrest, the interrogators have been able to get from Khalid al-Shaykh Muhammad valuable information which has helped the Crusaders to kill and arrest a number of leaders of Al-Qa'ida.

I want to ask this lying failure: Who are those leaders of Al-Qa'ida whose killing or capture was facilitated by the information extracted from Khalid al-Shaykh Muhammad? And I say to him: You lying failure, what is the size of your losses after the capture of Khalid al-Shaykh Muhammad, may God free him?

Bush, you deceitful charlatan, three and a half years have passed since you captured Khalid al-Shaykh Muhammad, so how have you found us during this time? Losing and surrendering? Or, by the grace of God, attacking, seeking martyrdom, advancing, and injuring you on a daily basis. The strikes of the mujahidin deprived you of the pleasure of quenching your thirst for revenge with the capture of our champions, those who repeat what (Islamic poet) Abu-Firas (al-Hamadani) said:.

And I tell him: You lying failure: Why can't you be brave at least once in your life and inform your nation of the disasters, which your forces are facing in Afghanistan and Iraq? Why don't you tell them how many million citizens of America and its allies you intend to kill in search of the imaginary victory and in breathless pursuit of the mirage towards which you are driving your people's sons in order to increase your profits?

Can't you be honest at least once in your life, and admit that you are a deceitful liar, who intentionally deceived your nation, when you drove them to war in Iraq under the pretext of the presence of nuclear weapons there and under the pretext of Al-Qa'ida's connections with Saddam Husayn, following which evidence proved that you intentionally lied and misled? And do you have the courage to stand in front of your people and tell your nation that you lied to them and drove them -- and continued to drive them -- to terrible things for the sake of stupid fantasies?

And I tell him: You frivolous charlatan, if the arrest of Khalid al-Shaykh Muhammad, may God free him, has helped you in the war on terror, why then are your forces retreating in secret from the south and east of Afghanistan and handing over their tasks to the NATO forces, which are screaming for help due to the horribleness of what is happening to them at the hands of the Taliban and Al-Qa'ida?

I tell him that if arresting Khalid al-Shaykh Muhammad, may God set him free, enabled you to deal painful blows to Al-Qa'ida, why then your troops are making quick arrangements for withdrawal from Iraq? I also tell him that Khalid al-Shaykh Muhammad, may God set him free, has hurt you thou sands of times more than you hurt him.

Abu-Firas says: Khalid al-Shaykh Muhammad is a soldier of Islam who has been fighting its enemy; first the Russians, and then the Americans, for more than 20 years.

I also tell him that Khalid al-Shaykh Muhammad is the leader of the march, the pioneer of an awakening, and the vanguard of a nation, and he has left behind him thousands others who have learned from him or those who learned from those who learned from him and who take their example his life story and his continuous sacrifices and giving in the path of God so that the word of God be the highest and the word of the unbelievers be the lowest.

I also tell him that what you have committed against Khalid al-Shaykh Muhammad and the other Muslim captives in your prisons and the jails of your slaves in Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan, and elsewhere is not a secret to anyone and we are a people who do not tolerate oppression and we do not abandon our revenge until our chests are healed of those who aggressed against us. By the grace of God, we are seeking to extract revenge on behalf of Islam and Muslims from you, your soldiers, and your allies. So be patient if you can when you face the horrors of war because we, with God's help, will tolerate it.

Al-Barudi (an Egyptian poet) may God have mercy on his soul said: Bush, you deceitful charlatan: You have captured Ramzi Yusuf, Umar Abd-al-Rahman, Wali Khan, Ibn al-Shaykh, Ramzi Bin-al-Shibah, Khalid al-Shaykh Muhammad, Abu-al-Faraj al-Libi, and hundreds of Islam's mujahidin and heroes in your war against Islam which you call the war on terror. And your agents in the Arabian Peninsula, Yemen, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Pakistan, and Afghanistan have captured thousands of the youth and soldiers of Islam. You have let them taste various types of torture at the hands of your tormentors and agents.

But, by the grace of God, we are taking revenge on their behalf on a daily basis from your soldiers and the soldiers of your allies and agents in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, the Arabian Peninsula, and all Muslim countries from Indonesia to Morocco and even in your own country every day. The horror of fighting only increases our determination to sacrifice and give more of ourselves in the path of God.

Abd-al-Rahman Bin-Hassan Bin Thabit (an old Arab poet), may God be pleased with him, said: Bush, you deceitful charlatan: Be aware that the liberation of our captives is a debt on our shoulders, which we must fulfill, with God's help and power. You should know, O deceitful charlatan, that you are not facing individuals or organizations but you are facing the Muslim nation in which the spirit of jihad flows and which rejects humiliation under Zionist-Crusader arrogance. So are you able to kill or capture the nation of Islam.

Therefore, stop bluffing by saying that you have captured this one or killed that one because your soldiers who have been killed are filling the fields in Iraq and Afghanistan and their colleagues are fleeing from death to death by committing suicide out of despair.

The second issue that I want to talk about is the statement made by the pope of the Vatican, who blasphemed God and insulted the reverend Prophet (Muhammad), peace and prayers be upon him, and what this charlatan said; that Islam is unreasonable. The pope with his contradictive remarks has pretended to have forgotten that his Christianity cannot be accepted by a sound mind because it includes superstitions like the trinity, the crucifixion, redemption, the original sin, the infallibility of the pope, and the church's forgiveness of sins.

He forgot that the book he deems holy does not have an authentic source and did not descend on Jesus, peace be upon him. Rather, it is about what was written about Jesus, peace be upon him, without specifically identifying its writers, translators, or original texts. After the bishops selected parts of the book and accepted them as legal, they considered other parts as illegal, without having clear justifications or intelligible proofs for this.

O our Muslim nation, these acts of insolence did not come single. Rather, they were part of a series of insults targeting Islam, such as the writings of Salman Rushdie, the honored guest of the White House, France prohibiting wearing scarves in schools, US desecration of the Holy Koran, the US pressure to hold Wafa'i Qustantin and her sisters to the vaults of torture in the monasteries that are protected by the US-Crusader influence, and the cartoons insulting the character of the reverend messenger, peace and prayers be upon him.

All of these insults coincide with the Crusade on Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, and Palestine, including the carpet bombing of villages, violation of the women's honor, torture, secret jails, and other forms of the dirty Crusader-Zionist series of the Crusader US campaign against Islam and Muslims.

The charlatan Benedict XVI reminds us of the speech delivered by his predecessor Pope Urban II in the 11th century in Claremont in France, in which he instigated the people of European to fight Muslims and wage Crusade wars because the pagan Muslims, the enemies of Christians, as he claimed, desecrate the grave of Jesus Christ, peace be upon him. He deliberately lied to the mob of the West and ignored the crystal-clear facts; namely, that Muslims are not pagan and that they eradicated paganism wherever they go.

They are monotheists who worship the One and Only God who begot not, nor is He begotten; and there is none like unto Him. He also ignored the fact that Muslims cannot be enemies of Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, because they believe in his prophecy and consider him an apostle messenger of inflexible purpose. They believe in the Bible that descended on him and believe in all God's prophets, messengers, and books.

The result of this charlatanism was Crusade wars that lasted for about two centuries and ended with the utter defeat upon the Crusader West.

Benedict XVI fabricated lies against us, but we respond to this insult by benevolence, inviting him and all Christians to Islam, religion of monotheism, which does not know trinity, the superstition of crucifixion, redemption, and incarnation. It is the religion the well-guarded book of which has not been distorted or changed and defies humans to create a book of its like.

However, if they insist on their failed Crusader war, let them have the same fate of Urban II and those who obeyed him and believed his lies.

The third issue that I want to talk about is the Crusader plan to send Crusader forces to Darfur, which is about to become a new field for the Crusader wars. O nation of Islam, rise to defend your land and sanctities against the aggression of the Crusaders who are using the cover of the United Nations. You will only be protected by a popular jihadist war which the mujahidin are undertaking.

As for the government of Khartoum, which conceded the south, is too week to defend Darfur after inciting wars and seditions in it. This government permits the impermissible, seeks its own interest, and ga rners spoils. How can a government of a defeated belief be steadfast in the face of the gravity of wars?

Is it not the government that had dissolved the popular defense forces so as to hand over the south to the US-Zionist influence? So it cannot be farther from leading popular jihad. So, honorable and noble people of Darfur, cling to your religion, and resolve your differences among yourselves. Do not allow the conniving and deceitful government of Khartoum or the anti-Islam Crusader West to intervene among you.

Be prepared to fend off the Crusader campaign against you. you should realize the powerlessness of the governments in control of the Muslim land against the forces of Crusader invasion. These governments are suffering two kinds of impotence. The first is ideological, for they accepted the legitimacy of the Unit ed Nations, which is in violation of Islam.

This organization obliges all those governments to maintain Israel's sovereignty and territorial integrity, for it is a member, like them, to the United Nations. They also suffer behavioral impotence, for they agreed to remain in power through submission to the will of the Crusader West and allowing it to occupy the Muslim land in Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, and Palestine. you should realize the impotence of many resounding names who install themselves as leaders of the Muslim masses.

I will specifically mention three categories: The category of those who are ideologically-defeated, those who accepted the governance of the masses instead of the governance of the Shari'ah (Islamic law).

They acknowledged the legitimacy of the corrupt rulers and accepted the national bond instead of Muslim brotherhood and the Sykes-Picot borders instead of the Islamic caliphate. They entered Kabul aboard America's tanks, under the cover of its Cross, and the protection of its bombers.

They participated in the councils of the occupation, and then in the rigged elections and referendums in Iraq and Afghanistan. The second category is the category of the deceptive merchants of religion, those who colluded with the US occupation of Iraq, before, during, and after the invasion.

They also participated in defending the US occupiers and waged a war against the Muslims and mujahdin in the name of Islam in the service of the US master. The third category is the category of the clerics of beggary, those who sold their religion for salaries and posts. They approved of recognizing Israel and reconciliation with it. They sold off Palestine, and installed their rulers as pious followers of God.

They labeled those who confront their corruption as being extremists and infidels. we should renounce all the resolutions and treaties of capitulation, beginning with the resolution on the partition of Palestine, and ending with Resolution 1701, passing through the Camp David and Oslo accords.

All these are resolutions and treaties that hand over the land of Islam to its enemies, recognize the legitimacy of the Zionist entity, and incriminate those who wage jihad against it. the Muslim nation should wage a popular jihadist war against the Crusader campaign.

What the enemies of Islam fear most is the popular jihadist war. the Muslim nation should realize that Afghanistan and Iraq are the most two important fields for confronting the contemporary Crusader war.

Therefore, the Muslim nation should support the mujahdin in these two countries with all its power. God, be He blessed, says: Those who believe, and adopt exile, and fight for the Faith, in the cause of Allah as well as those who give (them) asylum and aid,- these are (all) in very tru th the Believers: for them is the forgiveness of sins and a provision most generous.

...we are taking revenge on their behalf on a daily basis from your soldiers and the soldiers of your allies and agents in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, the Arabian Peninsula, and all Muslim countries from Indonesia to Morocco and even in your own country every day.

That could be as simplistic as their having countless jihadis already in America courtesy of our open borders and continuing to enter our country illegally (or overstaying visas with no one to check on them and deport them) and joining forces with the ones already here.

Mexico - Yuma Country rail line slammed

Snip: Along with the noise and air and visual pollution a new railroad would bring, it also would lead to more crime, said Ron Colburn, chief patrol agent in the Yuma area for the U.S. Border Patrol. "Crime follows the railroad," he said. "It's happened in Texas and California and Nogales, and it could happen here."

The former Islamic militant

Snip: Anne Singleton, 48, was recruited into the mujahedin at university, and was active for seven years. She left the organisation in 1996 and now campaigns to warn others.

Scanner recognizes hidden knives and guns

Snip: It can be used to spot hidden handguns and knives, and even non-metal weapons such as ceramic knives. Until now, however, a human operator has been needed to pick out concealed weaponry.

That and crazies driving into crowds and God knoww what else.

"Crazy" is the defense they'll use when they drive into crowds or go on rampages and riots. Crazy like a fox. One thing for certain: they're intent on populating our country, taking over our government (eventually changing our country as we know it) and killing as many of us as they can along the way!

Somalia's Islamic militia seizes village

Snip: Somalia's Islamic fighters have seized control of a strategic village near the Ethiopian border, widening their grip over much of the southern part of the country, the group said Saturday.

Extremist Islam may be rising in Morocco

Snip: Little would seem to connect a soldier, a shopkeeper, airline pilots' wives and a woman known for helping people in need. But all have been named as suspects in a purported Islamic terrorist plot, suggesting extremism may be leaping Morocco's class divides.

In all, Moroccan authorities arrested 56 people last month for allegedly being part of a network that was planning attacks on military and tourist sites in hopes of bringing down the government of this North African monarchy.

Whooping Cough hits workers at Worcester Hospital

Snip: WORCESTER, Mass.- More than two dozen medical workers at St. Vincent Hospital have been diagnosed with whooping cough in the last three weeks, and 55 others who have shown symptoms are being tested for the disease.

MS-13 gang member guilty of murdering another MS-13 gang member

Snip: The leader of a local clique of the MS-13 gang was convicted yesterday of murder and racketeering in the 2004 shooting of a fellow gang member. Wilfredo "Nino" Montoya Baires, 27, of Reston shot and killed Jose Escobar in August 2004 inside a Manassas home after falsely suspecting Escobar of cooperating with police.

2nd woman testifies of MS-13 gang rape

Snip: A second rape victim testifying yesterday in a federal racketeering case against two reputed MS-13 gang members said one of the defendants held a gun to her head and raped her along with about 12 other men.

The 18-year-old woman from El Salvador said defendant Oscar "Casper" Velasquez, 21, was the third man to assault her in the succession of rapes, which took place at a "skipping party" held in a Hyattsville apartment in 2003. "He had a gun," the woman said through a Spanish interpreter.

Cops keep it Gangsta

Snip: As CCGIA continues its training this fall, more questions are surfacing, namely about jurisdiction. On September 11th, CCGIA plans a daylong training entitled, “Islamic Extremists -- Who Are They and How to Identify Them.” They will only disclose the San Jose location in the return confirmation letter to participants. James Biesterfeld, a retired Special Agent of the U.S. Army Intelligence, is teaching this course. Although there is national debate about the role of local police involvement in national security issues due to civil liberty concerns, CCGIA is not waiting for any decisions to be made before initiating trainings.
