I'm not sure why, but this variety of prairie dog is commonly referred to as "whistle pig." I get the "whistle" part, just not the "pig."

Nice videos. Any idea of what caliber they were using? The videos footage is from .22-250 and .17 Hornady rounds. Most is .22-250 footage.
