Whether it is an American soldier, an Iraqi civilian, or a train passenger in India being killed by terrorists, it makes me very sad and angry. What is confusing about this?

I believe in giving credit where credit is dueOh, I agree. My point is that one instance really doesn't make a difference. Although, I will admit, it's at least a start.

Unless you are assuming this is a grammatically incorrect sentence, it is obvious that American Soldier, Iraqi Civilian, and Train passenger are subjects of the passive tense verb 'to be killed (by)' terrorists.

never mind, am scanning didnt see previous.

Besides, it only takes "one out of a few billion" to help uncover a terrorist plot.I try to emphasize this reality when dismissing the common BS about "the majority of muslims are good".
If just one out of a million muslims dropped a dime on their co-religionist mass murderers each year, we would have 1200 mass murders avoided.
The killing rate would be greatly reduced, and we could talk about the current human race joke, "the religion of peace".
In the meantime, instead, we can continue wasting time and energy responding to total nitwits complaining about being called Islamofascists". If they feel uncomfortable with that, perhaps they can switch to my name of choice, Muslim Mass Murderers!"

I would not presume to know the answers to these questions. Would you??

individuals constrained by law AND by fear of retaliation from assuredly brutal parties will never be enough. Given our legal and social structure, the United States (and western europe) at this time are no longer equipped to handle this threat, IMHO.
To: cerberus
for that matter, why should she work for the CIA? Her time must be worth $5,000/hr or more depending on how you value her stock options.

Why do people constantly make excuses for American muslims lack of action in condeming terror? Just a thought, mind you.

Only Islam can clean it's own filthy house. No one else can do it.
Wrong. It can be done for them if they don't do it themselves. But it will be a very thorough cleaning........

In the mideast, I agree with you. How many muslims are there in the US and what laws or retaliation do they fear within our borders?Exactly the same as they have to fear anywhere else. Muslims have been murdered openly in the streets of many European cities by other muslims. The only reason it has not yet happened in the United States, is simply that no muslim had dared to drop a dime on the killers among them.
If one ever does, I hope the authorities have the good sense to keep their names permanently sealed, and away from the New York Times.

Nice that you know the reason why they haven't come out. Stop making excuses for them.
Did it ever dawn on you that the reason they don't speak out is because they agree with their terrorist brothers??????

Metairie isn't part of her name, it's where she lives - Metairie, LA.

Secular Terrorism is Shocking I think the title is a typical of terrorism. What's the point of making a difference between secular terrorism and religious terrorism?
