And can the Welsh sing! There's a little Welsh church in Nelson, NY, near Syracuse. It's only open now in the summer for evening services but at one time it served a large group of local Welshmen/women. My favorite all time movie is "How Green is My Valley."

That was meant as a joke, right. I get more respect from the ghetto blasters down the road. You don't show respect for God's Word, so why should I expect any for me? You want me to situate my arguments in "doctrine". THAT IS A JOKE! You can't make a silk purse, out of a sow's ear.

Do you have access to the same documents as Jerome allegedly "translated"? You asked if the writer did. I do. I have studied them in the ORIGINAL Greek and Hebrew texts, so that I could have a better understanding. I received formal training for that specific purpose. I have seen these glaring errors in Jeromes's translation, firsthand. I will be happy to give the site I referenced. I usually include it, for further research by others.

But, I don't really expect you to accept that as truth. You will only accept RC doctrine. Your mind is closed so tight, you couldn't open it with a pry bar. Otherwise, you may be ex-communicated, and nobody can pray you out of purgatory, then! (Oops, you can't be in purgatory, if the RC church doesn't say so, can you?)

My father is a Priest. I am also a priest. There is no line of Apostolic succession, except in the minds of RC hopefuls. You can take that straight to the Throne as well! Your RC church's guys are usurpers on the grandest scale imaginable. They seem perfectly willing to perpetuate lies and deception, and you have bought it hook, line, and sinker.

Scripture speaks very much about that... and I would not want to stand in their shoes, before the Judgement Throne! Whosoever adds to, or takes from, Scripture is destined for the pits of Hell and the lake of fire! That is not my Words, they comes straight from the top!

God will not be mocked. When you change one little dot... you are making it into a big lie! Your guy changed the basic meaning of Salvation, and added rules that God never intended!

There is no mystery in Communion. It is a celebration, nothing more! You can mystify it all you wish, and try to create a liturgy to support it, but that does not make it so...

When are you going to refute the points made in my post, instead of reciting with blind allegiance to your "church"'s "doctrines"?

I remember a while back my dad raving about her, and had me sit down to watch her performance. She was young, surrounded by stuffed animals and carried a rosary once owned by her grandmother. I remember thinking back then, she's going to be a huge target of satan, and that I hoped she always keep her faith.

While it's certainly possible that a fourteen year old would have the presence of mind to utter deeply felt political beliefs only to retract those same comments after contemplating loss of a huge fan base and resultant loss of income, it's more than likely that a fourteen year old would act in similar fashion as most teenagers.

It cannot be assumed that Charlotte Church's incredible talent and success would have imbued her with adult restraint and wisdom. Age and immaturity alone are often predictive factors in displays of ignorant and impulsive behavior.

It is unfortunate that a fourteen year old's comments could arise from ignorance, and zero self control. However, impulsive behavior and poorly chosen words are certainly not atypical behavior for many contemporary teens.

If only all impulsive, poorly behaved teens were held up for similar public scorn as often as wealthy, successful and famous teens.

Friend, you've been ingesting too much prottie polemical ahistory from the 17th - 19th centuries. As for the dark ages:

Italy conquered by the Goths (5th century): Arians, not Catholics.

North Africa conquered by the Vandals (5th century): Arians, not Catholics.

Spain conquered by the Visigoths (5th century): Arians, not Catholics.

The entire near east conquered by the Arabs (7th century): Muslims, not Catholics.

The only places where high civilization remained intact was Constantinople (Catholic). The place where high civilization first revived in Europe was France under Charlemagne (Catholic).

As for the "evil" Inquisition, be good enough to name for me another court in all of Europe that handed out fewer death sentences between the years 1450 and 1650, will you? When compared to Henry VIII and Elizabethen England, the Inquisition looks like a stroll through the daisies.
