Edwards Wants Immediate Iraq Withdrawal

Former vice presidential candidate John Edwards, who is considering another run for the Democratic presidential nomination, said Saturday the United States should start pulling troops out of Iraq immediately.
The former senator from North Carolina told reporters America should "make it clear (to Iraqis) we are leaving, and the best way is to start leaving. We should take 40,000 combat troops out now."
Edwards, who has said he regretted his vote as a U.S. senator authorizing President Bush to invade Iraq, said he would ask the country's military leaders for a strategy "to have the (rest of the) troops out in roughly 12 to 18 months."
"There is no chance other countries in the world will help Iraq as long as we are an occupying force," he said.

This guy was a real cute space-filler with Kerry. Two major schiesters and losers. The Breck Girl did not do much for the campaign except the normal spreading of liberal lies and BS. If he were smart, as most libs are not, he would keep his mouth shut and continue to make his whip-lash Harry money.

Failed VICE presidential candidate. Someone who "served" ONE term in the Senate where he accomplished nothing.
I am so sure America cares what he says.

It's as if these dems are living on another planet. Don't they see what's happening in the Mideast? Aren't they the least bit curious as to why Iraq isn't joining with Iran and Syria in trying to destroy civilization? Could it be because Iraq now knows there's a better way to live than to try to blow itself back to the seventh century? I heard on Fox this morning some dem whining about how 60% of the American people think we're going about Iraq in the wrong way. I figure 50% of those are stupid idiotic dems who are anti-Bush losers and quitters no matter what the issue is, and 10% of that 60% are Republicans who are mad because we didn't turn Iraq into an Iraq-shaped glass parking lot in the first place. This cut-and-run cr*p just makes me so mad!!

This is great. The more "mainstream" Democrats calling for cut-and-runimmediate withdrawal, the better for us.
The public does not want this. It is precisely this shadow of George McGovern looming over the Democrats that keeps many people from trusting them. They are just plain Not Serious™ about the war on terror, and the war on terror is serious business. |

Edwards is a shallow, pandering, finger in the wind, thumb up his ass, blow dried, ambulance chasing metrosexual.
But is too stupid, to realize how by 2008, the country will be quite proud of the work our fighting men have done in Iraq, and quite impressed with the President who never waivered.
It sure seemed "smart" at the time, but how many democrats today put on their resume that they impeded the cold war at every step, prefereed the Soviet dictator over President Reagan, read Poetry with Ortega, and did every thing short of assisinating republicans to try to prevent missile defenses?
The honors you saw theis country give to Reagan will never be repeated in the death of a democrat ever again.

Another traitor giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Just like saying that we should immediately pull out troops out of France after D Day or after the invasion of Italy where we were under fire for weeks or months before we moved. I am sure that the Democrats want the terrorist to win it just seems to me the American people are being brain washed by these anti-American left-wing fascist pro terrorist idiots.

Hey Edwards, go back to ambulance chasing, and leave foreign policy to those who know what they are talking about..
You are much, much better at ambulance chasing.
