Dear Senator Kerry:

Please read the following (click on the link--or have your secretary do it if you don't know how) and explain to me why you're right and The Heritage Foundation is wrong.

Here's the LINK , Ketchup Boy.

Massachusetts Mark Vecchione was killed last week. At the wake, the representative of John Kerry showed up with a flag and simply walked up to the funeral home and handed it to the funeral director. He was asked to present the flag directly to the family on behalf of the Senator, but refused and started to leave the building.

A retired Colonel started after the rep to explain how it is protocol to present the flag to the family.

Kerry's rep refused to stop and talk. In fact, Kerry's rep kept walking to his car with the Colonel following and pleading to do the right thing. The rep of John Kerry drove away.

And any voter who thinks socialized medicine is such a dandy idea should be made to spend some time in a country that has it.

Note to voters: This, too, can be yours if you vote for someone with the initials MA (or NY) after his/her name...

Is Jean Francois and his wife Teresa prepared to pay higher taxes to make universal health care available? If he thinks its such a great idea, let him front the money for it first.

Repealing the tax cuts will not pay for this program.

It will create massive government deficits, since whenever something is given away for free, demand runs out of control.

Increased demand also means higher premiums for those in the private sector, which makes more people dependent on the government, creating a cycle that spirals out of control.

We cannot afford to create another socialist blackhole.

I'd sooner buy a plasma TV from that windbag than a health plan that will not even cover me - "its all for the children." And he thinks the voters are stupid.

Health care reform is not merely a question of how do you pay for it. The real problem is that if we spent all this money on additional health care for everyone, we'd still get no more health care than we've already got because the supply is limited.

Simply raising taxes does not, and never has, paid any government's revenue demands.

Encouraging an expanding economy, which involves restraint in applying taxes, has proven over and over again to be the route to increasing revenues. People, given the choice, always produce more when offered incentives, than when threatened with imposed punishments for success. The incentive of "keep what you earn" has always resulted in reinforcement of efforts to expand and improve on the means to acquire more money.

Ten percent of $100,000 yields more, in the long run, than one hundred percent of $10,000. In the second year, just simple interest on the gross income of $100,000 increases the net capitalization, and eventual expansion of taxable cash flow. If every bit of $10,000 is going to be taken away anyway, why try to earn anything at all?

It is the difference of an eagle rising on a thermal updraft, and a death spiral.

Like in Canada. They'll institute rationing for every one but the elite. The elite will get immediate access to world class health care and the peasants can share the misery of substandard care equally.

Sen. John Kerry on Monday will propose requiring all Americans to have health insurance by 2012, "with the federal government guaranteeing they have the means to afford it."

And if you don't WANT it, and prefer to pay for it out-of-pocket, like I do?

It always amazes me how the richest democrats are always for increasing taxes or taking away tax breaks.

How many of these democrats over pay their taxes?

How many have refused to take the tax breaks given?

Total 100% hipocracy.

Senator Kerry, Sir, how about we pay for it with the entire profits of Heinz from this day forward.

After all it is your own stupid proposal.

There is universal health care for everyone. It is called an emergency room and we already pay for it.

That's right. Why don't you ask dear Teresa to offer coverage to Heinz employees NOW. You don't have to wait four years to get that coverage going.
