Dump Condi: Foreign policy conservatives charge State Dept. has hijacked Bush agenda

Conservative national security allies of President Bush are in revolt against Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, saying that she is incompetent and has reversed the administration’s national security and foreign policy agenda.

The conservatives, who include Newt Gingrich, Richard Perle and leading current and former members of the Pentagon and National Security Council, have urged the president to transfer Miss Rice out of the State Department and to an advisory role. They said Miss Rice, stemming from her lack of understanding of the Middle East, has misled the president on Iran and the Arab-Israeli conflict.

"The president has yet to understand that people make policy and not the other way around," a senior national security policy analyst said. "Unlike [former Secretary of State Colin] Powell, Condi is loyal to the president. She is just incompetent on most foreign policy issues."

The Desperate Dems have attacked Bush, they've attacked Cheney, they've attacked Rumsfeld, and each time they've LOST. Oh, wait... they've also attacked Laura and the Bush twins. Hmmm...do you suppose his mama will be the next? I'd love to see them try. Idiots!

Please tell me the name of a current office-holder, congressman or senator who does not.

Don't you know that it would be much smarter policy to just flat out call a huge segment world's population murderous terrorist thugs? /sarcasm

She has been horrible. But she isn't going to be fired or moved.

How about some evidence as to how horrible she is.

When I think of horrible, I think of Albright or that quaking creep that was SOS under Clinton before her.

Condi is doing her job which is, in effect, international mouthpiece for the president. If it is your sincere desire to see her forget about Bush's plans are and go out on her own on international relations, then you have a different view of the SOS job description than I have.

Powell had Armitage as his right hand man. Armitage is like that whiner Anthony Zinni. Bitching and moaning that things were not done his way ever since he left office. Hey, dumbshit, you are there to do the president's bidding, not MAKE foreign policy.

Powell was constantly looked at by our most vile enemies, the MSM, as the voice of "moderation" in the administration. There was a reason for that, and it ain't all good.

FWIW, both Powell and Condi are infinitely better than the retards serving during the Clinton Year. Warren Christopher? Cankles Albright? Yikes.

Wow. If you are expecting a "your simply brilliant" post as a response to this, you'll have to wait awhile. "Little-bitty head?" Sheesh.

I guess my response would simply be "just because you don't know about something, doesn't mean it doeskin not exist."

She has to be that way with Hamas. The administration advocates a two state solution and they know Hamas will be there one way or another. Especially since they did too well in the election.

Hamas can be controlled. Hezbollah has to be destroyed although no one will lose sleep if Hamas takes a good whacking.

"Go to a dictionary and look up "tactical"."

I find there are people here who do not want to use tactics. They want lots and lots and lots of destruction, and they do not care who gets destroyed in the process.

I am interested in destroying terrorism/terrorists. I am not interested in destroying anything and everything else that may be in the neighborhood.

Maybe I am wrong, but I don't think so highly of somebody who is radically open borders, pro abortion, pro gay marriage, pro affirmative action, and pro Palestinian state

ROFLOL. Don't ask my why I'm laughing, because I'm not going to tell you. But, yes, you are wrong. Good luck anyway.

They all think it but they can't say it because it is so politically incorrect that they know the media would barbecue them so they have to say nicey-nice things about Islamofascists.

Political correctness is a terrible disease. We should devote more research toward looking for a cure.

This morning I hear Rice on the news saying, "Thank you for your courage and steadfastness" to whom? To the Prime Minister of Lebanon.

When I think of horrible, I think of Albright or that quaking creep that was SOS under Clinton before her.

Yes, of course. That's not a high standard to be compared to.

Not only that, but there are Muslims that don't really know what they espouse. We don't need the aggravation of ticking them off just because.

There are a LOT of Christians that irritate me to no end. But if you said to me that "Christians are evil and the source of all pain and suffering in the world" I'm going to defend myself and by extension those irritants I wouldn't normally defend.

So, it's just not good political strategy to say things like that. Which is completely different than being naive imo.

Rice is nice person, but a lightweight in the arena of world politics. She should be "transferred" somewhere.
