How do the world's nations relate to the new American Empire?

What the World Thinks of America is an in-depth look at today's central issue in international affairs.

Ten broadcast networks from around the world have contributed in an international first: journalists from each nation have collaborated to bring you essays and discussion about their country's 21st century relationship with the United States. All ten perspectives will be represented in this unprecedented broadcast and Web site.

From politics, military, economics and culture to the challenges, constraints and conditions on America's global command, this cross-cultural, multi-faceted news event asked experts, analysts and ordinary people from all over the globe to tell us What the World Thinks of America.

Biggest problem with the image of the USA is our left wing

If we were united and didn't have so many American hating wack jobs in this country we would have a completely different image and be feared and respected

The true central issue in international affairs is whether or not world civilization is going to be dragged back into the dark ages with its head cut off. All the rest is bullpucky.

The rest of the world is very similar to the Red Sox Nation and their fans . The Red Sox fan loathes the Yankess. The rest of the world loathes us. Red Sox nation is obssessed with the Yankees. The world obsesses about us. The Red Sox fan thinks Red Sox Nation is as powerful and as successful as the Yankees. The rest of the world thinks they are equivalent in stature to us. Finally. Red Sox Nation suffers from Yankee hatred syndrome. The rest of the world (along with the American left and the media wing of their party, the MSM) suffers from Bush hatred syndrome. Startling.

They don't need a poll, just look at the millions of the world's people who come here every year to seek their fortune, including the Mexicans who take their chances traveling through the desert just to get here. I'd say the results of the "poll" are already in and they are crystal clear, the rest of the world is so envious of the United States that they can barely stand it anymore.
