Jordan alerts Israel to a Hamas Terror attack!

GAMLA: News and Views from Israel

Jordan alerts Israel to a Hamas team heading for a large-scale terror attack in Israel prompting the defense minister’s West Bank closure Thursday

Jordanian military intelligence relayed information that Hamas had recruited a bomb team in the kingdom. It was on its way to cross into Israel for the strike. Israeli and Jordanian border troops are on a high state of preparedness. The potential targets are the southern port of Eilat, its Arava main road link to the north, the Dead Sea, or the Beit Shean Valley on the Jordan River. This information led defense minister Amir Peretz to announce the closure of the West Bank Thursday, July 20.

Israeli security officials have grounds to suspect that the latest Hamas terror initiative is coordinated with Hizballah’s war in the north via the Lebanese group’s operational officers stationed in Nablus and Gaza.

A bit of good news. If it's true the Saudi cleric issueda fatwah against Hezbollah, and then this, I'd say we're winning a small battle against the Islamofascists.

MSNBC says the American public is worried about the disproportional death toll on the Hezballah side.

GIVE ME A FREAKIN BREAK. What about all the men, women, and children that Hezbalah has killed over the last year?

A thank you to the Jordanians for the heads up. There are nations in the Middle East that want this crap to end. When I hear news like this, I have to remain hopeful that it will one day be possible.

I am thinking that in this war...even the little steps taken by the Middle East countries is a victory.

I hope they keep up the good work.

A sad day for the American Left indeed when terror plots are foiled.

The American Left will undoubtably declare war on Jordan for having helped foil this plot.

Jordan is an oasis of sanity and stability in the Middle East. So yes, they will be a target for the fever swamp left.

The Nevilles at PMSNBC never asked me about it, so they can't speak for me....Isreal shouldn't stop until no one who agrees with Hizbullah is left alive.

I am on a forum for my small town that is FILLED with liberals. Every last one doesn't give a darn about the deaths in Lebanon and is rooting for Israel. Needless to say, I was pleasantly suprised.

I stated yesterday that the IDF had been working hard for 2 years to find that bunker they bombed yesterday. I suspected someone in the Arab or Persian world gave the location to them. I think we can now thank our friends in Jordan for the Info.

Oh those folks don't count, to the media.

It amazes me to see Israel hit with missiles, then watch the media focus only on the poor Hezbollah civilians. Who does the media think is dying in Israel, only military troops?

Our media is a complete joke.

Frankly I don't like seeing anyone die, but those who live in terrorist enclaves in Lebanon must accept that they are going to pay a heavy toll when payback time comes.

If you don't want to hear the bombs going off, then tell your husbands to start supporting you and your children, and leaving the terrorism in the past.

Heh! Denver's Craig's List Rants and Raves section isn't that kind. They're all, "Jew," this and that. A bunch of jutjobs over there. If you happen to be curious and find it (I won't post the link), it's not safe for work. But it's a great place to make a room full of libs pee themselves with a few well placed words by me.

The Arab dream of a United Arabia will never be realized.

I'm not sure about that. United under its current makeup? No. But look at the giant step that this story represents. maybe, just maybe, when these terrorist organizations are ground to dust there CAN be a United Arabia living in peace with its neighbors. Maybe some of these countries are beginning to realize that.
