Ungrateful [W]itch!
Fox News Interview
Posted on 07/20/2006 4:19:12 AM PDT by moonman
Fox News just had an interview with a woman who showed the world what an absolute ungrateful bitch she is. She said that our government didn't make arrangements quickly enough. In other words, it's Bush's fault.
These people have known that Lebanon have been a hot spot for 25 years and to go there, you are going at your own peril. I hope we are charging each and every person a premium for going in there and helping them leave. This irks me to no end!

A Lebonese young man was Lebonon to attend a wedding. In his interview on FOX, he said that everyone at the Lebonon Embassy was waiting to see what George Bush would do to help!
Why is it George Bush's duty to help any of them?

I was talking about the same thing with a buddy of mine yesterday. We were of the same opinion... throw her overboard and let her swim back to the United States.
To: moonman
Well, if THAT woman made you mad, how about the New Yorker of Labanese descent they interviewed after her? That guy was a complete jerk, and should probably be put on the terrorist watch list, as far as I am concerned.

ARGH! How annoying. Remnants of Katrina. Absolutely no thanks to those busting their butts to help the "victims". Just bile b/c they didn't act "fast enough". Should have left her there.
Is it possible that calling her an ungrateful bitch is an insult to truly ungrateful bitches?
To: moonman
Not to mention State department warnings against travel to Lebanon.

She said her husband had to live on the street....then ED asked her if her hubby couldn't have stayed with his mom..5 minutes from the airport. Well, yes, but he wanted to be close to the embassy.
Another reporter answered a question: Yes, the people could buy food and water and stuff at the stores.
To the ones who are whining: Quitchercryin! Much better to be alive and uncoddled than to be trapped, held hostage, or dead. Argh!

I cooked up a perfect David Letterman joke:
"You know, the Americans being evacuated out of Lebanon are being transported on cruise ships. And apparently they're settling in well and getting back into their normal routines. This morning about a hundred of them could be seen pacing the deck waiting for the breakfast buffet to open up."
To: tiredoflaundry
The people you hear whining are spoiled brats. Some are not only spoiled brats, but moonbats. Some are not only spoiled moonbrats, but also extremists who would like to influence politics to fit their extremist views.
God help our country while it's still ours to help.

I don't feel sorry for these people. There was a State Department issued Travel Advisory and these people went anyway. Most of them are probably supporters of hezbollah so they're ready and chomping at-the-bit to diss W and Israel.

I saw that interview- and kept thinking ...here comes the Cindy Sheehan of this war. There was a funny moment...when the woman complained that her husband had to sleep in the streets. ED asked her how that was possible if he (husband) was there visiting his mother. LOL!
Worth getting a transcript if available later from FOX.

FOX did show a guy off the ship overnight who was upbeat and said that the ship and evacuation and all was put together well. The only negative thing he had to say was that it was difficult to get through to the American Embassy over the phone.
Everyone else so far has been pathetic.

Don't worry. There is going to be a huge backlash against these people when the others start realizing that their taxes went to to pay for this rescue.
I hope the news keep showing everyone of them that wants to bitch about it. Most people wonder why they were so stupid to be there in the first place.

People have all thrown PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY to the wind. I got them ACTS OF GOD. And this will always be.
To: moonman
Someone should explain to this young woman that if you engage in dangerous activities like go to an Arab country like Lebanon, you are engaging in risky activities. Just like Katrina--if you live in an area likely hit by a hurricane, make sure you are protected. That's not rocket science.

One year my brother-in-law went skiing in Italy, wandered off piste and crashed. He had to be taken off the mountain by the ski patrol and stitched up. Not only did he have to pay for the hospital he also had to pay for the evacuation. That's exactly how they should treat these evacuees, American taxpayers didn't tell them to go to Beiruit and we shouldn't have to foot the bill for their risky behavior.

Why is it George Bush's duty to help any of them? It's the nanny state mentality. When Bill Clinton came out and said things like "I feel your pain", he spoke directly to those who want Big Brother to take care of them. And they accuse Bush of being Hitler? These people crave a Hitler to follow and of course they have no self-awareness at all - just "feeeeeelings".

You mean that David Merhage guy - called himself a musician from the East Village? I came on here to see if anybody else saw him. This guy needs a serious ass-whippin'.
David Merhage stood at the podium and regurgitated the DU/Kos talking points. Reporters should have asked him if he supported Hizbollah and hated Jews. My guess is affirmative on both counts.
