And who can forget all of the bizzare ghost stories about the doomsday weapon he created that used earth's natual magnetic field to cause earthquakes and shoot bolts of lighting all over the place. (conspiracy is that HAARP is somehow a child of that technology)

He did create lightning bolts and send current at a distance although he burned out the generator upstream at the power plant and went up and rewound it for them.
you forgot about sending electricity throught the earth. he allegedly actually did do some damage trying that. Perhaps that led to his work on the doomsday machine.
