(CNSNews.com)- Republicans say Democrats ought to be ashamed of themselves for using the flag-draped coffins of U.S. troops who died in Iraq for political gain.
The coffins-- and other depictions of violence in Iraq-- are among the images featured in a new political ad produced by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, a group that raises funds to elect Democrats to Congress.
"It makes my stomach turn to see National Democrats so blatantly exploit the sacrafices made by the men and women of our armed forces," National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Tom Reynolds said in a press release.

And when Bush dared to use images of 9-11 in his ads for the 2004 campaign, the Rats and their media puppets climbed all up his rear end over it, as if the president doesn't have a right to make his 9-11 leadership part of his legacy of accomplishment. But we're not hearing a peep from the same lapdog media as their DemoCRITE buddies shamelessly use flag draped coffins for political gain. And I bet if one were to look into it, they'd probably find that the pictures were staged by the Democrats, not actual footage.

The reason Troops come home in coffins today is the result of
inaction and neglect of the previous democrat government.
They allowed terrorism to grow unchecked, and allowed other regimes to aquire nuclear weapons.

I think this will backfire on them. Yesterday I got a phone call from the Maine DNC trying to raise money. When I told them that I had left the party in 2003, they asked why. When I said that I was the mother of three sons serving our country, they hung up on me. What nerve! They asked!

Colmes is also the main reason I stopped watching Hannity. The "fair and balanced" format sounds great on paper; in execution it comes out to be a scream-fest. Colmes is only mildly repugnant when compared to the even more repugnant guests they bring on to defend the indefensible.

DemoncRATS have not one ounce of shame. They succeeded in bombing Barry Goldwater's campaign of nukes exploding in the background indicating that if a pubby was elected prez then WWIII would start. This is the whole reason Rats and Rat supporters have been whining for years for access to the bodies of troops arriving home from the war.
They've wanted to use the coffin shots in their ads. This has been so transparent for so long I don't know why it's a surprise when they do it.
One good reason I could never attend a counter-protest is that if that old man flipped me off, I would walk over there, break off his finger, and shove it down his throat. I don't have enough self-control to be in the presence of traitors.
