The U of W thinks it is cool to have a vicious, anti-American madman teaching absurd and volatile lies. Well...maybe his other viewpoints and lecture topics are less hateful and insane. Maybe. You can't make this stuff up.

Berkley, Madison, Ithaca...we all have our favorites. The sad truth: These outrages routinely go down on dozens of campuses across the country, at least the "elite" hundred or so most "prestigious."

You may recollect an incident from own my community that got some minor buzz in conservative media a while back but never made big headlines (too many runaway brides, I suppose). A North Carolina State black studies instructor was caught by C-SPAN suggesting at a Howard University forum that blacks embark on a program of genocide against whites. NC State disingenuously insisted that he was NOT in their employ. The truth: he taught a course the PREVIOUS semester and did not happen to be teaching in the current semester. Had he not gotten the bad publicity, no doubt he would have continued to "teach" as they had a "need."

Perhaps the most remarkable thing about this is that NC State, noted for engineering and agriculture, is far from a radical or elite campus by the standards of Berkley, Madison, Ithaca. In fact, it is a distant third in hip radicalism within my own Raleigh-Durhm-Chapel Hill community. It is a bastion of all-American conservatism by comparision to nearby Duke and UNC-Chapel HIll. But this is the kind of radical lunatic that they have "teaching" in a political indoctrination program thinly disguised as an academic discipline. (I can not imagine what goes down below the radar in the much small historically black colleges that pepper the area.)

No, this is not the special province of the elites like Berkley, Madison, and Ithaca. This ~is~ university culture in our America.

This fool is laughing all the way to the bank. Come on now, it doesn't take a professor of rocket science to know that controversy gives you lots of free publicity and bling bling. I mean, this idiot probably looked at the ward churchill and thought, hey, I can do this too.

Basically, he's taking everyone for a fool. The smart thing would have been to ignore this idiot. Now, thanks to all the attention, he's got his fame, he's got his book deals, he's on the news media, and all kinds of other 'benefits' he doesn't deserve.

I don't remember any moonbat professors when I went to college back in the early 80's.

But, the only classes I attended were advanced calculus, differential equations, complex variables, numeric analysis, physics/ mechanics, physics/electric, etc.
