Some of the Dutch United Nations soldiers who failed to prevent the massacre of Srebenica in July 1995 gave the Serbs a back-slapping welcome, handed over their uniforms and even actively helped to separate Bosnian men from their families, say relatives of the 8,000 men and boys who were murdered. A German attorney is preparing a lawsuit against the UN and the Netherlands.
They are unbelievable scenes that Sabaheta Fejzic, a bookkeeper from Vogosca near Srebenica, will never forget. War had been raging for years in Bosnia, and in the summer of 1995 everyone in Srebrenica was scared to death of the Serbian militia. But the people still had faith: in the United Nations, which had declared this city in Bosnia a "protected zone," and in the blue-helmeted soldiers from the Netherlands, who had been stationed nearby for more than a year, charged with protecting this sanctuary.

And then Sabaheta saw something she still can barely believe: A group of Serbian soldiers ran across some Dutch troops - and the soldiers greeted one another happily. They threw their caps in the air and some even hugged one another. "We were shocked," said Sabaheta Fejzic.

This is the most awkward and inhuman event with western Europeans involved since the nazi barbarianism. A real shame.

Fascinating. At the time, 7500 was cited. Then that got rounded up to 8000. Now it's 'over 8000'. I suppose next it will get rounded up to 10,000?
And, however, many of those actually died in summary executions, you can subtract the few thousand who showed up on the voter roles for the next election (and were reported by the ICRC as having left the enclave at the time), and any that died in battle before the city was taken.
And now letting women and children leave before a battle is protrayed as a bad thing? Srebenica is called 'genocide' in anti-Serb propaganda. (I hate to tell you, but to commit genocide, you've got to kill the women and children, too.)
Doubtless there were some summary executions (arguably of traitors), but the jewel in the crown of accusations of war crimes against the Serbs is not so shining as the Bosnian Muslims and their West European supporters would have us believe.

Theres a famous English quote from the beginning of the 20th century that basically said all the factions in the Balkans hate each other and are cruel to each other, so it is pointless to take sides.

Muslim Srebrenica commander naser Oric was several days ago condemned to 2 (TWO DAM`N YEARS) for attrocities against 3,500 Christians in Srebrenica. being for three years in prison, he was immidiatly released.
I realy don`t give ***k for muslims in Srebrenica. I realy don`t.

Serbs outraged over sentence for Muslim commander

BELGRADE, Serbia
Serbian officials and media expressed outrage Saturday over the light two-year prison sentence handed down by the UN war crimes court to a Muslim wartime commander they blame for some of the worst atrocities of the Bosnian war.
Naser Oric, the wartime commander of the Muslims in Srebrenica, was convicted Friday of failing to prevent the torture and killing of Serb prisoners in the eastern Bosnian enclave. But the U.N. court decided he was not directly involved and punished him with a light two years in prison.
Oric, who spent three years in the custody of the UN court, immediately was released for time served.
The verdict enraged the Serbs, who accuse troops under Oric's command of slaughtering hundreds of Serb civilians in the villages around Srebrenica in the early years of Bosnia's 1992-95 war.
"The verdict brings into question the credibility of the (Hague) court," said Aleksandar Simic, an adviser to Serbia's prime minister, Vojislav Kostunica.

Not really interesting reactions on your post, nothing can justify such massacres.
You may be from Germany but it seems you are no German. Otherwise you would not say such a thing - hundreds of thousands of German civilians perished AFTER the war due to the involvement of Western Europeans. Dachau worked after the war as well.
Srebrenica pales in comparrison with Wesrern European return of hundreds of thousands of Soviet POWS to Stalin into sure death.
Among other propaganda tasks, "8000 men and boys" hoax is meant to wipe out the above mentioned facts from the public memory.
This partially explains why Srebrenica hoax camp is so vocal.
Hopefully, The Dutch government will finally speak and tell what Srebrenica hoax is all about.
IF they died, your math would be true. But 8000 did not die and your math is only another mud-slinged blot.
Having in mind that during WWII Serbs in Bosnian were the victims of REAL genocide (over half a milllion murdered in the most savage way), your comment is rather hurtful.
For example, before WWII, Srebrenica was Serb mining town with minority Muslim population. It became Muslim majority town after WWII due to genocide of the Serbs during the war. Grandfather of Nasir Oric was a Nazi during WWII, his grandson continued his work.

It was a reference to how the figure keeps inflating, NOT what you appearantly took it as.
