re: Substitute hosts, I was listening to Jerry Doyle in my car just now on the way back from the market, and at the end of his show he mentioned he is on vacation also next week, so no chance of a Doyle sub for Savage next week.

My guess is that it's a week that's in between rating periods so a host can go away and the ratings that week don't matter or don't matter so much. I think Medved is on a guest cruise, or visit to the holy land, next week too.

In any case, I'll enjoy my daily dose of Savage today! :-)
