Ward Churchill, the professor who called some of the World Trade Center victims “little Eichmanns,” should be fired because of “repeated and deliberate” infractions of scholarship rules, a University of Colorado committee said today.
The recommendation, which came on a 6-3 vote, now goes to university officials for a final decision.
They knew that since the majority would vote to can him, they were able to safely vote "no" so that they were insulated from the inevitable law suit for discrimination against white guys pretending to be native Americans.
Happens in board rooms, too.

If they actually do fire him (eventually) he'll make a fortune doing talk shows on TV and generally playing the all around mistreated martyr.
He'll just get rich on the college speaking circuit and Democrat conventions, etc.

I would be astonished if he wasn't hired at a prestigious university, even after being thrown out of his current gig. Big universities love celebrity professors, especially ultra leftists. UCSB hired Angela Davis for instance.
Thing is, getting fired because of plagiarism is the kiss of death in the academic world. You can do almost anything else you want, including come up with wild theories not based on evidence, but if you steal some other academic's work, you're done for. Nobody will touch you after that.
He might go on the speaking circuit, but he won't be a prof.

The bastard makes over 100 grand a year on fake scholarship. Of course he should be fired.
I know many REAL college professors who live difficult lives due to not being able to have that type of pay....and they DESERVE that level of compensation.

Getting a professor job is not easy; you need a doctorate. And even then, you have to claw your way to a good spot with tons of competition.
This clown got in pretty easy for some reason, and at a salary level that is not usually reached until being close to retirement, if ever.
