Yes, it's possible he simply means because we're infidels we're the terrorists, since he considers himself too pious to be anything but morally right. Why did President Reagan support Hussein? Because as leader of the free world, he HAD to have a position on the war between Iraq and Iran and it sure as heck wasn't going to be Iran.
