I have a cat and a Jack Russell. The cat doesn't stand a chance...

I believe it, I had a neighbor at one time who kept a pair of bobcats as pets, he also had a bulldog named Lucy. He assured me that no cat can stand up against a sizable dog that really wants to kill it. Sure, a lot of dogs will run away and act helpless but some will not. I am familiar with the Jack Russell terrier and I am sure that most of them can handle the average cat if they really want to. I have buried the results of a cat and dog fight and the corpse was feline.
Clawless kitty chases bear up tree (Trolls take note!)
Jack the Cat Chases Black Bear Up Tree
Dennis the studly boy-cat sometimes wraps himself around a chair leg and bats at his tail with his front feet. Then he grabs the chair leg with his front feet and tries FURIOUSLY to disembowel it with his back ones.
And people wonder why all our wooden chairs have scratches an inch off the ground.
Dogs are nicer then cats. When the dog is playing and the cat is fighting the cat wins.
When both are fighting the fight lasts about 2 seconds (unless of course the dog is tiny).
BTW dogs tree bears so routinely it's not reported.
May I ask how big is that desert lynx, how it acts and if it's fixed?
