"If you are going to remake my face, could you give me a Dr. Diamond nose?"
"Caldwell said it was unclear whether al-Zarqawi was trying to get away as he writhed around on his stretcher."
This part gives me quite a bit of....satisfaction. He apparently had enough awareness left to realize that WE GOT HIM!! The arrogant, bloated, murderous swine LOST, and the "infidels" won! He WRITHED in agony and made a pathetic, futile attempt to get away from us.
Unfortunately, it was too little, in view of all the misery and pain and HELL he decreed should be the fate of his victims.
However, there IS satisfaction in knowing that, right now, he is NOT frolicking with his virgins, but is facing the consequences of his delusions, and truly evil actions, meted out by the hand of the righteous, TRUE God of the universe.

Odd how the dems and the terrorists have so many beliefs in common...
What could it mean? [ sarcasm off...)
Stupid headline -- should have the word "Briefly" in it.
1. He knew we got him.
2. He suffered.
These are good things.
I was hoping he would die crying like a little girl.
I don't know about that. Zarqawi did, litterally, survive the airstrike, since he was apparently alive after it ended, although he died of the wounds he recieved shortly thereafter.
LOL!
Or one of my favorites.."I've fallen..and I can't get up!"....
The Iraqi police got the name of a cemetery.
The Americans got the name on a headstone...
"Say, how come my voice is so much higher?"
Al-Zarqawi said to have survived airstrike ^
this may seem morbid of me, and i might be wrong too. but, last night when i saw those photos i actually thought to myself that his wounds wouldn't have bled if his heart stopped immediately after the concussion. so, i thought, he was probably alive for a few minutes after the bomb.
I heard one of the soldiers went up to Al-Zarqawi and said, "I've got good news for you, I just saved a load of money on my car insurance by switching to GEICO."
Did anyone notice the bruise on Zarks cheek? It looks like it came from the but of a rifle
"everybody resecured him back onto the stretcher. ... He died almost immediately thereafter from the wounds he'd received from this airstrike."
Ruh-roh! I smell an investigation into the death of Al-Zarqawi. Everybody resecured him back onto the stretcher, wonder what kind of nails they used.
This just in, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is still dead.
"Never mind me, mate. I'm just pining for the fjords."
"A mortally wounded Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was still alive and mumbling on a gurney"
Waste of a perfectly good gurney.
Damn shame....
