Washington-area sniper John Allen Muhammad was convicted of six more of the killings Tuesday after a trial in which he acted as his own attorney and the prosecution's star witness was his young protege and partner in crime, Lee Boyd Malvo.
Muhammad, 45, is already under a death sentence in Virginia for a killing there. The most he can get for the six Maryland slayings is life in prison without parole.
The jury took slightly more than four hours to convict him after a four-week trial.
The trial marked the first time Malvo testified against the man prosecutors say was his mentor and manipulator. During two days of testimony last week, Malvo, 21, gave the first inside account of the shootings and described Muhammad's elaborate plans for a reign of terror.
Hang him in Virginia and send the body back to Maryland for the six life sentences!
Wow he looks kind of respectable there. Maybe the press will call for his release soon.

I still think it would have been the best if we all caught a break and both of those guys had died during an attempt to capture them.
Any air they are breathing today is IMO an insult to all those they killed out of their discrimination and worshiping of the Islamic cult.
His life sentences might be served before the justice system gets around to executing him.
He should be executed by sniper, let him loose in the prison yard and leave him free to walk around for a few hours. Every once in a while, a shot rings out. Stay away from the head and chest for a while.

I don't know what their compensation is, but if it's anything like what ours get here locally (a measly $9 per day plus 7 cents a mile), yes I too would hold out for the free lunch.

As for the convicted himself, perhaps he's been given the opportunity to really islamicize and change his first names to match up better with the Muhammed part. After all, John Allen is so terribly western. I'll even help him out and dub him Omar Abdul Muhammed.

At some point, the state of Alabama wanted to try him for a murder or two down there. I don't know that he faced the music there yet. Or maybe the state has now or will decline to try him? Will have to do some research on that tomorrow.

He should declare himself a Black Nationalist and a radical. He'll have thousands of blacks and a lot of mush-headed leftists supporting him.
To say that this man deserves the death penalty is an act of charity. He is a poster boy for the death penalty. In cold blood, he murdered innocent people whom he had never even met and manipulated a homeless minor into helping him. It's just too bad that he'll tie up the courts with mindless appeals for the next ten years or so.
