My understanding is that he did in fact authorize the release of his records, but consistent with the slim that drips from this man, he released them only to a third party who in turn has released only selected portions to the public. He is unwilling to reveal the truth about his brief military service.

Why doesn't he show us the 180 so we can see for ourselves exactly what he authorized to be released?

John Kerry starts by showing the entry in a log he kept from 1969: "Feb 12: 0800 run to Cambodia."

Penned in Times New Roman complete with "kerning", I'll wager.

Your statements are exactly the reason I want to see Kerry's discharge papers from the U.S. Navy. There is no possible way that Kerry has an honorable discharge. If he has a Clinton discharge, it's not worth the paper it's printed on...

"I have the hat to this day," he declares, rising to pull it from his briefcase.

"I have the hat."

This guy is simply a liar and traitor. No matter how much dust he tries to throw onto his tall tales, they will always have the tin sound of fraud. He has been exposed as an evil SOB who sold out his comrades because it was expedient to his own political ambition. The more he protests, the more the truth about his service will be apparent. His entire career has been based upon lies. Now his fake persona is fractured and he can't cope with the destruction of his doppelganger self. It's hard to understand how he can look in the mirror. Disgrace and madness are a fit end for this bum.

Of course he's "signed it." Question is, had he "submitted it?" Or is his complete record floating around out there and I just have somehow, missed it?

Apparently he has submitted at least one of the three he signed. Each of them allows disclosure of his complete record (or at least his complete active duty record, the forms are very poorly filled out. They should have been sent back for proper accomplishment, but I suspect they'll just try to figure out what he intended and send out the packet). However each form only allows a "one time" disclosure to a particular individual. One named a reporter for the Boston Globe, who claims to have seen the record, the other two allow disclosure to a single reporter each from the LA Times and AP. They do not allow disclosure to the general public, nor even to the general news media, ie, only 3 of his favorite supporters get to see them.

From the second web page of the NY Times article..
"Naval records and accounts from other sailors contradicted almost every claim they (the Swift Boat Vets) made, and some members of the group who had earlier praised Mr. Kerry's heroism contradicted themselves."

This goes beyond bias into distortion. The NY Times once again has its devotees trapped into an alternative universe of liberal-spun truth. I supposed the 'almost' in this statement shields them from a slander charge by the Swift Boat Vets.

Is he also going to find President Nixon's order for him to go to Cambodia in December 1968?

John Kerry is as ideologically confused as he is intellectually dishonest. Kerry's tactic is to keep shouting and denying. If the last word heard on the issue is KERRY's DENIAL defying TRUTH and FACTS, then Kerry's deceptive UNTRUTH is accepted as TRUTH. Don't let John Kerry ever have the last word!!! Remember, Maoists are brainwashed/conditioned to "lie and deny". This accounts for the "different moral codes" UK leftist Galloway referred to as "moral" justification for (terrorists) to assassinate Tony Blair.

The Swift boat group....sued Mr. Kerry, a Democratic senator from Massachusetts, for allegedly interfering with the release of a film that was critical of him.

Allegedly? They did it publicly.

Clinton or Carter could have signed off on a less than honorable discharge. On way or another he is a fraud. My favorite Kerry screw up was his claim that Nixon sent him to Cambodia in December 1968. Nixon didnt assume office until Jan 1969. I dont remember if Jacques Al-Qerry was ever called on it..

"Same-o, Same-o."

Kerry is planning another run, so Kerry is trying to get as much smoke into the air as possible because Kerry KNOWS he is dead center in the crosshairs on this one.

Kerry may also have disappeared some paperwork from archives by now. Once I would have had my tinfoil on to type that but in the America that is becoming clearer and clearer to more and more I feel I don't need it.

the forms are very poorly filled out.

Where did you hear this? Who has actually seen these forms?

"He WON'T. Because he CAN'T."

If he has realized that another run for POTUS is impossible WITHOUT releasing the records, then he WILL release them. Or their "standins".
