I mean you are entertaining but sometimes it flat lines.
Same old same old from the Chief. Pay him no mind. He finds me "entertaining" as well. I take such statements to mean "a buddy of mine is getting trounced in the debate so I'll come to the rescue by distracting the poster while he slips out the back door".
Then it's nothing but inanities, LOL and attempts to incite you so that you say or do something to get you banned.
After years of seeing it in action it's pretty easy to spot by now and it's actually pretty pathetic.
I'm sure I'll get a scathing comment for my comments

"Pence proposed having employers request foreign workers through private agencies. The agencies would find matches for the jobs and conduct health screening and background checks, with visas issued by the State Department in the workers' home countries."

Hmm, think I'll run over to the local body shop at noon and see what they think of going to an agency for their next batch of 'sanding and masking technicians'.

"I want to renounce my citizenship and become an illegal alien. Can anyone here at Free Republic tell me how to do it" ...
Not a bad idea. You would get welfare, free medical, food stamps etc...right from the get go."

I think you may have given me the answer I needed, between your list and a pension I wouldn't have to worry about social security remaining solvent.

guess that changes who gets the "Dumbest Post of the Day Award." hmm?

No. You're the one who wants to drive American farmers out of business. You're still the one with the floppy ears.

Not sure I understand you here, but you didn't offend me at all. I already said you were right.

A jihadist would say murder them all. You should know that and you should apologize to the forum for your loose use of that word.

How will it be secured? The Senate bill has 350 miles of fencing and the House bill has 700 miles. I don't see it being secured any time soon.

It's better than nothing. As I said, down the road as more conservative Republicans are elected, more fencing can be added and the stupid guest-worker provision will be eliminated.

Pence's solution of having the illegals go home and be processed through Ellis Island centers by the private sector is totally unworkable.

It's totally feasible. Private companies are processing Medicare Part D recipients for Medicare, aren't they? Surely companies will process guest-workers. Better than the government, since they already have the databases.

Pence's plan is just amnesty under another name.

Pence's plan is not amnesty.

Pence's plan is just amnesty under another name.

Of course it is. He is allowing people who came here illegally, i.e., broke our laws, to return back to our country and work. Moreover, he is giving them a path to citizenship.

Only Nixon Could Go to China, and Only Pence Could Sell Amnesty to the House

Pence may be a fine overall conservative but his bill is amnesty on the installment process. Not only that but a temp program with no caps or sector limits while leaving it to private agencies to administer would almost guarantee that employers would be sending buses down to the border to get replacements for American workers. And why not, lower salaries, less benefits and a more compliant labor force is good for the bottom line.
