It's not hard to understand. Great pictures! Thanks!
The pics and info all compliments of my French Friend 'leviathan2' on FR ! ;-)
He will post all by himself in time to come! lol
FReeedom!
Welcome leviathan2!
Thanks very much for the links!
Notice how this is all over the news stations and in the major newpapers across the country? </s
That's why people complain that the Iranian people aren't doing anything to win their freedom. If they never hear about it on CNN and the networks, how can they know what's going on?
"If they never hear about it on CNN and the networks, how can they know what's going on?"
CNN did do a report on it, but they said the people were protesting in support of the illegals in the US. ;)
This is what really bothers me. These people are putting themselves in harms way for their own freedom, for the cause of freedom, and they are not made into heroes by our media.
"These people are putting themselves in harms way for their own freedom, for the cause of freedom, and they are not made into heroes by our media."
They are pro-democracy & pro-America...need we say more ?
What bothers me is not that they're not being made heroes, but why it isn't even considered a news story?
It's Iran, for Pete's sake! A real important country at the moment. How about telling everyone what the heck is going on there!?!
Pictures amazing. . .a 'strength' in numbers here; but the will of this Government will no doubt be a painful exercise on these brave students.
They need to hear from us. Soon 'google' will be determining that this is 'hate speech' and it will be gone. . .
We watch as the Left attempts to redefine what 'Free World' means today. . .
There had been some photos on State-run websites in Iran.
Most have been pulled now.
Regime doesn't want the publicity internally or externally.
That's why it's so important for the MSM to be covering these events.
Hopefully, having the stories posted on the internet will pressure the media to cover these stories.
It's awful that they aren't covered, because publicity is what these movements need to grow and strengthen.
Alas, pro-democracy groups are not at the top of the MSM's list of must see tv
No question. . .
That makes me SO angry. It irritates me to no end that this won't make the news, even on FOX, and all I have heard all day is news about "American Idol."
Here is Iran, threatening Israel, and the western world -- while tens of thousands of Iranians march in opposition to their evil leaders -- and a regurgitated version of the 1960s Gong Show is top news of the day on all the MSM and cable networks.
This is why I get my news from the internet.
"Attention News Media Lurkers.
Don't you feel this story is worth adding to today's news lineup?"
They don't want the overthrow of the Iranian regime on George Bush's watch! Then the nuke threat from Iran would end and the Iranian infiltration of weapons and men into Iraq would end.
Good Grief! That would be awful!
I'm rather PO'd myself
Everybody on this thread should email Fox News right now to let them know how this angers us.
I'm going to do it now.
I have been watching news about Iranian protests for years on FreeRepublic, and the absence of any such news on the cable and MSM.
Grrrrrrrrr
