What you don't understand is the masses in the Afghan/Pak border regions know (or believe) he is alive...as does the Muslim street. They believe this for a variety of reasons. And understand not every tape /audio UBL puts out is meant for the MSM???
Zarqawi produced several and never released them "publicly" in Iraq (and the only reason he released the last video tape...finally showing himself after 3 years on the run in Iraq...was because he knew for certain our SOF recovered one of these video tapes in an Op....and he guessed we would put it on the air...and so he rushed to do it himself first).
Putting out video's is a very risky game and thus UBL doesn't put them out often (his last being in 2004).
Putting UBL in the ground will have a much larger impact then most suspect. Lets hope we put him there this year.
He does seem to pop up whenever Zarqawi (or Zarahiri) is getting too much attention. North Korea does the same thing in regards to Iran, IMO.

Strangely enough, I once a found a left-wing moonbat web site that says bin Laden was killed in Tora Bora and the Bush administration is hiring actors to play him in all these audio and videotapes to help Bush politically.
