First of all, you wrote ”we”, are you Croat from Croatia, Croat living in US or Croatian American? It could help me to understand your position.

I think that current and former generation of Balkaners are not mature enough to realize what is good for them. Maybe someday they will be ready but may be to late then.

Europe did well with small states for centuries, I see no reason why it can't now.

Polish provinces were also divided once in the past. It was not good for our country, instead of supporting each other, they often fought each other. They were often tools in hands of foreign states. Germany was divided as well and they did not meant much at that time. After unification Germany always was powerful state and religious argument played little role in this country.

We're not interested in rule from Belgrade since

If you (and the Serbs too) want to see my point you need to think in different categories than “we and they”. Capital might be in Ljubljana, it is second rate problem.

it killed us, bled us dry, and almost wiped us out.

Some Serbs would probably copy-paste your post expressing their views of Croats. It is simply useless…

Why you propose trying this a third time is beyond me.

Because I cannot understand that somebody could reserve for his nation position of unimportant country destined to serve the interest of big European states if there is solution that could change this pointless situation.

Nero Wolfe will be pleased about this, at least.

Your position is to engage in a third attempt at a twice-failed experiment. No thanks, I'm not much for illogic.

Have you ever gone to one of the Serb vs Croat soccer games in Chicago? Bring a flack jacket.

Dio, your boys have a really bad rep around here when it comes to soccer, they were kicked out of one league for threatening people and intentionally causing bodily harm and these were complaints by the American's! :-)

Reminds me of the Toronto Serbia White Eagles from the 1970s who are still banned from having a team in all of Canada :)

Which Croatian team in Chicago has that rep: Zrinjski or Red/White/Blue? I cheer for Zrinjski myself.

I don't know. This was one of the indoor leagues that I didn't play in, heard from an Amerikanac. Laughed my ass off because they threatened one guy before the start of the game that they would break this guy's leg.... and they did.

That was straw that broke the camel's leg, so to speak.

is malitia any different than terrorist. I guess when you pushed the people of the former Yugoslavia to far guess what happens. People tend to rebel. Wow a small region called Kosovo defeated the so called Greater Serbians. Where are they today. In the desperate hands of the international community. All this detroyed one of the most beatiful countries in the world. Now that all serbs will live together in small serbia without access to the sea what does this do for the serbian economy. I hear the danube river is an option. Good luck. Keep the spirit as people create their own enclaves when they do not behave.

I do not fear that the KLA will enter Montenegro. The albanians of this region have different beliefs and live peacfully within this state. They are more interested in having a good time and enjoy the wealth of tourism. Didn't serbia infiltrate their people all over the Former Yugoslavia so that they one day can claim majority? nice try but greater serbia ideology was wrong to begin with and guess what it failed. Good for the croats, bosnians, montenegrins, slovenians, macedonians. They now are independant countries. What everyone should concentrate is getting along as good neighbors. The albanians are next and they also should get what they deserve. So there are serbs in Kosovo afraid of being mistreated. Oh I wonder how the albanians survived all these years being mistreated and not equal. When land of surrounding coutries were integrated into what became Yugoslavia during Marshal Tito's era these people of different ethnicities did not ask for this. Why were they not equal? if they were treated as equals I am sure all would have worked and lived peacefully forever. Now they are apart, but should try to be good neighbors.

"I do not fear that the KLA will enter Montenegro"

****They are already there. They have two rebel groups...UCGP and LAM. They have been there since 2000. I know this to be a fact. The Albanians have orchestrated much of the violence that the Serbs have been accused of. The media has exaggerated the events since Bosnia..........

The Albanian Mafia has set up their network and their dream of Greater Albanian since 1943 is about to happen. The Serbs have been targeted since the beginning.....these are the facts.....

what makes you so sure that the country Albania wants them? they have there own problems. remember they were isolated by their former leader "enver Hoxha" for 40 years. I think they want to address there own issues. Plus their military is destructed. The only stabilty they can have is being part of Nato and the EU. These are my thoughts.

Yes..you are also correct. It's not a matter of what the people want, it's what the Mafia, CIA, Muslims all want. The people have little to nothing to do with it. Anyone talks against this Greater Albania will be assassinated....Commander Drini was one of the examples early on......in 2000.

This is a Mafia driven agenda along with certain groups within the U.S. Government and UN. Long long story........dates back to 1948.......Reference further reading in Greater Albania, CIA in Albania in the 1940's.....Balle

KOSOVO, SERBIAN ISSUE AND THE GREATER ALBANIA PROJECT
Slavenko Terzic, Ph.D.

I wrote in an assessment I made while in Kosovo, living In Gjilan/Gnjilane...the following:

"To understand this fully, you must study the ideals and agenda of the National Liberation Front (LNC) and
the emergence of the "Balli Kombetar" during WWII. The routine and agenda's are the same. Even to the
point of establishing a group called the "Skenderberg Division", formed even now, today in Macedonia. The
Skenderberg Division was formed originally as an Albanian SS group in Kosovo during WWII. After the
invasion of Yugoslavia the Italians occupied Kosovo. When Italy dropped out of the war in 1943, the Germans
entered Kosovo and promised the province independence. They raised a SS Division from among the
Albanian population; the infamous Skenderberg Division, which set about methodically to slaughter Serbs in
Kosovo. As the war progressed Serb guerilla bands retaliated against the perpetrators of these crimes with
counter massacres of their own. The horrors committed in Yugoslavia during the war, over a million people
perished, were not forgotten. In Croatia, where Bosnia or Kosovo, there were few Serbs who had not lost friends
or relatives during the Second World War."

They do what to address their own issues. However, starting in 2000, there was a signficant migration of Albanians going to the Montenegrian beaches but few were returning back to Kosovo over a period of years. The next focus will be western Macedonia and South Presevo in Serbia. There will be sniper attacks, landmines, ambushes, and provocations to incite the Serbian police and military into action. The country as you say may not want them, but the Mafia does, the Mafia rules not the UN or the U.S.....

Thank you for that very detail write-up. I have to say a makes me wonder how unaware we may sometimes be. Thank you for the clarification it is appreciated. I hope that this doesn't go that route. But you and I know that when a nation is poor, that's when the vulnerability is higher. They become good targets and people in desperation will do what ever possible to feed families and get paid. Thanks again.

This situation is evolving almost daily. Here is current information I have received from my sources in Kosovo.

I received this information from a source I have in Kosovo. I fell it prudent to send it to several of my distribution for use and others for interest.

My source tells me that fresh German troops are being sent into North Mitrovica. Mujahadeen followers are building up throughout Kosovo, south of the Ibar. Someone or some movement is going to tip the balance in Kosovo. It is thought that if the German soldiers attempt to take the over the Trepca mines and secure them, the Serbs will respond violently.

The situation must be treated as dangerous in respect of these groups, adding that they were/are planning an attack on UNMIK, possibly end of June/July. I would venture a guess that the groups referred to would be Islamic groups working with Albanian extremist. The Serbs cannot be counted out at this time as nationalist are being cornered and know that if Kosovo gets independence the days for the minorities are numbered even more now than before. The actual time for the possible attack is not known by my source, however the question is “Will it be against personnel or installations? where? when? evening or day?

According to his/her sources, which is considered as second hand by him/her, the Islamic conference is a definite for June 1-2, then 5-6, but his/her source could not say Pristina or Prizren for sure.

The following groups are involved with its organisation.

1. Gjurma, based in Novi Pazar (precise location not known + two offices in Prizren and Pec working on humanitarian issues sponsored by or directly financed by Iran.

2. Tablighi Jamaat, based in Pristina (precise location not known, check this group out on wikipedia)

Allegations from U.S. counter-terrorist officials
A number of the Combatant Status Review Tribunals conducted by the United States on their captives imprisoned at their Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, in Cuba. say:[1]

"The Jamat al Tabligh, a Pakistani-based Islamic Missionary organization, is being used as a cover to mask travel and activities of terrorists including members of al Qaida." [2] [3]

The New York Times reported that a brief stay at a Tablighi Jamaat hostel lead to the decision to capture Guantanamo Bay detainee Murat Kurnaz.

The above two groups like to keep a low profile in their activities and are most probably giving the appropriate units the run around.
__________________________________________

The following comments/agenda are from previous Pan Islamic Conferences and may not be the view of the above two groups:

Our meeting around these goals and fixed principles will create a new challenge to make the correction of way and to stop the retrogression of our nation and people and to create the practical tools to defend its existence and rights.

It will be the first practical and serious step for the Arabs and Muslims in Europe to work for the following titles:

a) Strengthening the Arab Islamic presence in Europe, unifying its institutions and securing its rights

b) Supporting the resistance movement against the aggression and occupation in Palestine and Iraq, and supporting the steadfastness of the people who is enduring all kinds of oppression and chicanery and torture under the policy of the iron Fist, and who is struggling for its freedom and sovereignty on all the Arab and Islamic countries.

c) Installing a worthy and fair popular Arab Islamic European dialogue to create a common platform of values and principles relying on the support of the right and on the resistance against oppression and injustice, aside the support of the world’s forwarding toward equality and peace between peoples.

d) Creating an Arab Islamic chain within the unified world’s front to oppose hegemony.

This language of resistance to oppression goes hand-in-hand with the language of jihad, as evidenced by the Muslims of Kabardino-Balkaria.

Long ride coming..and a change of direction. The idea is to share information, discuss it and maybe somewhere, somehow, someone if authority or influence will see and take action.

Your welcome, as I see myself as a student and am learning something new every day about this subject area.

this is a scary prospective. Is there anyone that from all these anti-terrorrist groups aware of this. How can this happen. What is KFOR and other Peace Keepers doing and why are they not reporting this to the world? How can anyone allow this region to be part of the Islamist fundamentals.
How is the authorities in Novi Pazarr allowing this. Are people getting paid off. Do they really think this is going to help them. This is a sad affair. Is the US authorities aware of this situation? This is heartbreaking to hear.
