Illegals are illegally entering our country, the only injustice here on the border is being committed against Americans who have to pay for and put up with the problems caused by illegals.

If they really want to do the Christian thing and fight injustice in Mexico- they need to do it in Mexico. If they want to fight injustice in the US, then they need to join the Minutemen and help keep as many illegals out of this country as possible.

Illegals are not the down-trodden of this country as you would like to paint them by linking them with American Slaves and Blacks who were seeking Civil Rights in their own country in the past. Illegals problems and issues are with another country- they need to deal with their own issues in their own country. These illegals are illegally coming here of their own free will, if they have a hard time getting here- great! I want them to have an impossible time getting here. They have no right coming here. Period.

Are you that ignorant of History? To even think of comparing any part of this to the experience of the Jews in Nazi Germany tells me you would be better served by studying some History.

If you think the Mexicans and other illegals are being treated like the Jews in Nazi Germany- then your issue is with their home country- you should get your a$$ right down there and do all you can to help them, in their country.

The United States is not oppressing them and they have no business being here. If they feel oppressed here or you think they are oppressed here then you need to make sure they are all safely returned to their own country, ASAP, where they will be out of harms way from the evil American oppressors.

Give me a break- you cannot possibly be this stupid.

"One word: RICO"

Now there's an idea. Of course we could apply that to the entire Democratic party and ACLU as well. =)

These people are aiding and abetting criminals. They may see themselves as being on some kind of humanitarian mission, but the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

This statement is true and perfect. It cannot be improved.

Uh that wasn't the point - the point was whether or not people should always obey the law as a religious obligation, which is what you implied with your post. Nazi Germany was an example of where people had a moral duty to disobey the law. Mexico is certainly not Nazi Germany, but I would certainly think that providing food and water to people so they don't starve or die of thirst in the desert is a religious obligation of Christians, regardless of the legal status of the recipients.

Your post is disgusting no matter how you try to get around it. Comparing people fleeing genocide to people who are committing crimes out of greed doesn't even rise to contemptable.

There is no moral, ethical, or religious duty to help someone commit a crime. These criminals are not fleeing oppression.

They chose to become criminals out of greed. It pays better than the jobs they left to become criminals. They do it for the same reason drug dealers and hookers in America's slums become criminals, to make more money.

So you can try to weasle out of your anti-Semetic post but it doesn't cut it. Your psot speaks for itself.

There is no moral, ethical, or religious duty to help someone commit a crime.

Hiding Jews in your house in Nazi Germany was a crime. It was against the law. As was speaking out against Hitler which carried the death penalty. In the American south pre-civil war, it was a crime to not return an escaped slave after the passage of the Fugitive Slave Act. So I would suggest in some situations it is a moral duty to disobey the law.

Now you can rationalize your position that I doubt you ever gave much thought to but I think any readers of the thread understand what the issues here are.

Me, too!

So the volunteers want an "agreement" with the INS?

Okay, here's my proposal: The volunteers agree to stay away from the border, we agree not to shoot them.

Liberals have always had a soft spot for law-breakers. This is completely in character for them. I'd be surprised if they weren't ready to help illegal aliens flout our laws.

You keep comparing helping criminals to helping Jews flee death. You are an anti-Semite and have no place in a civil society.

"Are these words of a religion or a cult?"

Perhaps you should pick up a Bible.

Were "conductors" on the Underground Railroad in the 1860's "good Christians" in your opinion?

If the only thing you have is name-calling, then you're the racist for thinking that comparing Jews to Mexicans is an insult to Jews.
