68 Year Old Jane Fonda Is The 'New' Face of L'Oreal Cosmetics

68-Year-Old Jane Fonda Is New Face of L'Oreal

Jane Fonda is the surprise new face of L'Oreal, heading a lucrative advertising campaign at the age of 68.

The star joins a glittering list of celebrity spokesmodels including Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz after signing to front L'Oreal Paris anti-ageing treatment.

The $700,000 contract will see Fonda endorse the face cream on billboards and magazines, and the actress - who is a vocal critic of cosmetic surgery - insists she is perfect for the role.

She says, "Somebody's got to give a face to getting old. I'm going to try and organize other women in my profession and my friends to say no to the duck lips and getting rid of the wrinkles. I've just traveled through Sweden and Finland, looking at faces that were real ... as opposed to, in Hollywood, (where) everybody is starting to looking alike."

Feh. She can have her French contract with old lady Sarandon.

I will buy Estee Lauder and support the US.

And look fetchingly young, thanks.

68 Year Old Jane Fonda Is The 'New' Face of L'Oreal Cosmetics

I saw Jane Fonda on T.V. the other day, so I have only one question: Does make-up foundation stick to Teflon©?

I do know alot of women who are near 70 who would like to look that good. She is not unattractive, but, like my uncle who fought in vietnam said, what she did to the country and the soldiers was ugly.

Au contraire. A lot of older women take pride in their appearance.

Fonda, however, has to cover the ugly inside that is seeping out.

Perhaps not on her face, but those boobs are too perky for someone pushing 70. (I don't care how much exercise she does.)

I have a 7 inch circular Sander with 60 grit sandpaper out in the garage I would be only too happy to use to take off her wrinkles.

Stinking traitorous scumbag. Its only just that the French would hire this POS.

I find the whole thing absurd. Think about it! Ole Janie and her actress buddies get various facelifts, eyelifts, chinlifts, tummy tucks, butt tucks, thigh tucks, followed by regular treatments of botox and restylane. Then cosmetic companies hire these plastics to get before the camera to entice the public to buy the one and only aging cream that none of their competitors can produce with these plastics like Janie saying to the audience: "OOOooooo, this cream will make everyone look younger. Look what it did for me!" Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! What a joke!

The photos are airbrushed and touched up too. Women should not believe any cosmetic company claims unless they see the model in question in person and in full daylight.

Veteran Has No Regrets For Spitting On Jane Fonda Thursday, April 21, 2005 11:20am EDT

From NBC17: A man who had waited in line at a book-signing in Kansas City for Academy Award-winning actress Jane Fonda spit tobacco juice in her face Tuesday night.

The suspect, Vietnam veteran Michael A. Smith, 54, Smith said that his actions were planned and he has no regrets. He said he's a Vietnam veteran still angry at Fonda for her trip to Hanoi in 1972.

"She's a traitor, and she cost the lives of a lot of good men," Smith, who was 19 when he was sent to fight in Vietnam, told KMBC-TV in Kansas City. "She didn't do anything to the government -- she slapped us in the face."

The letter I just sent to L'Oreal. Yes, I stole a bit from this thread, thank you for the quotes. I am really going to miss their makeup...

"I would think that if you understood what Communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees, that we would someday become communists." --Jane "Hanoi" Fonda, Michigan State University, 1970

Underneath the makeup, her real face is drenched with the blood of millions of Southeast Asians who died at the hands of her beloved Communist friends.

As a long time consumer of Lancome products, it disheartens me to say that as of today, all L'Oreal and Lancome products will be purged from my home.
How a multinational company such as yourselves could insult the American public with you hiring of the traitor "Hanoi" Fonda is beyond me.

Best regards,
Suzanne R. Weeks

I saw her the other night on a new docko about Bette Davis; she's definitely had work done. Gena Rowlands was on it too, and she looks younger now than she did 25 years ago. I'm not criticizing - I wouldn't mind knowing who did their work - but if and when I have some done I'm going to show it off, not deny it! :)

What happened to the veteran with no regrets--arrested for assault? That's the least that should have happened.

Process a little bit, before you respond.

If Jane Fonda is indeed responsible for the deaths of American servicemen (and I buy that), then spitting on her really isn't enough, is it?
