So YOU tell us what really happened, wiseass.

How the hell should I know. You know though, cause Hollywood told you.

"Yeah, I'm sure anyone who says anything you do not like is a troll."

You're sure, are you? A casual perusal of my meager posting history will show that you are, in fact, the first troll I've felt moved to contend with. (Although I do confess to jumping into two "Zot Fests", solely for the opportunity to share a pic of my favorite "Viking Kitty"...)

You're posting history, however, speaks volumes. In fact, you're not even a proper troll. You're just a drive by troll, so No Kitty for You!

I am indeed.

I think that if Michael Moore made this film it would be about Islamic Minute Men fighting evil American colonial imperialism... Moore would have suggested that GW Bush hired Al Quada just so that he could boost public support and legitimize his Presidency. Yes, this would be a typical Michael Moore documentary... a documentary on the insanity of Michael Moore.

A lot of people have said that talking on cell phones at 2 to 3 miles up and going over 400 MPH is not going to happen. I know several who are going to try it the next opportunity they get. I called my phone company and they said to definitely not count on it.

Where is your proof these conversations didn't happen? BTW, radio waves travel faster than 400 mph (in case you didn't know). Maybe you need to get a new phone company.

If these conversations didn't occur, how did the passengers on the flight know what had happened to the Twin Towers and Pentagon, and why did they decide to take action?

Based on what we know, is it not likely that events unfolded as depicted in the movie to a certain degree?

I agree.

But, there was one facet of 'United 93's depiction of events that I have to question: The depiction of the German businessman as putting up a fight against the American passengers' resistance.

I looked up United Flight 93's passenger list, and found only one person I could identify as a German businessman.

This was Christian Adams, a winemaker and exporter who was traveling to a wine-tasting conference in the SF area.

I couldn't find anything, anywhere, about Mr. Adams's having put up any objection to the plan to overpower the hijackers.

Now it may be that the makers of 'United 93' interviewed Mr. Adams's family; and perhaps that the family said he had pacifist views, or some such thing. And then, possibly the screenwriters extrapolated from that.

But if Mr. Adams were my relative, I'd be mad as hell that he'd been portrayed that way.

Other than that --and the movie's minimization of Todd Beamer's role-- I thought 'United 93' was great.

I never said there were no conversations. There is problem however with cell phones passing control from tower to tower when one is moving that fast and is miles above the towers where the signal is not intended to be strong enough.

Voting for Republicans because they don't quite suck as much as Democrats (or are not as crazy) accomplishes little.

Both Republicans and Democrats have moved to the left since the days of JFK. But the Republicans still aren't as far left as the Dems, so I'll continue voting for them. If you don't want to, that is fine.

But I have made a choice - I don't listen to the political whinings of those who will not vote.
