US academic attacks Britain's hidden 'white supremacy'

White supremacy is "alive and well in Britain", according to one of America's leading black academics.
Speaking before next week's local elections, which could see an unprecedented surge of support for the far-Right British National Party, Prof Cornel West said that white people in Britain have failed to embrace the black community.
'You have a legacy of white supremacy tied to colonial history'
In an exclusive interview, the best-selling author, who is a household name on race relations in the United States, said: "Britain is a paradoxical place when it comes to issues of race.
"On the one hand there is a wonderful kind of geographical integration that you see when you walk the streets. At the same time, if you ask white Britons how many of them have more than two black friends, the answer is not many."
His remarks echo those of Trevor Phillips, the chairman of the Commission for Racial Equality, who last year warned that Britain was "sleep walking" into New Orleans-style ghettos.
Prof West, 52, a fierce critic of President George W Bush after Hurricane Katrina, added: "There are hidden ways in which white supremacy still works in Britain. It is different in the US, but we have such a racist history with slavery and discrimination. You have a legacy of white supremacy that is quite different. It is tied to a colonial history."
Princeton University's fiery professor of Religion and African American Studies was speaking in London after addressing a conference on the subject of discrimination against black women in the corporate world. Or as he puts it: "The hidden bias that keeps them marginalised, degrades and demeans them."
Prof West, whose aggressive Left-wing rhetoric is masked by a soft mid-west drawl, is the superstar of black academia in the US. His defection from Harvard to Princeton four years ago was, for the Ivy League, like the transfer of David Beckham from Manchester United to Real Madrid.
At the time, Prof West was fighting prostate cancer and complained that Harvard's Right-wing president, Laurence Summers, had failed to send him a get-well card.
His love of the limelight has also led to him making cameo appearances in The Matrix sci-fi film trilogy and producing a rap CD. A second recording is due this autumn, including a contribution from the rock musician Prince.
I am truly rolling on my ass laughing. Here's another great line:

And how are whites treated in majority black countries?

The analysis on this is quite simple. The Anglo-American alliance is one of the bulwarks of the Free World, fighting against terrorism, communism, and everything Russia can cobble together to undermine everything good on the planet.
Ergo the Anglo-American alliance must be attacked and weakened in every possible way. The purpose of this attack by an American is to stir British resentment against America. Any American attacking the attacker will be charged with racism.
Why?
Because there are very few black men in the corporate world, most are on our cities' street corners, scoring drugs and rappin'.
At least those men are not descriminated against
Black women should be on the street corners too? (sarc.) This POS needs to get a life instead of praying like a stalker on the colonial guilt trips that British liberals already lay on themselves. Most of them were not even alive during British colonialism. Nothing like perpetuating the erroneous concept of intergenerational guilt!
I would love to see him getting his ass kicked all the way back across the Atlantic. Put this POS on a street corner in Harlem and see how long he would last.
And black women in Britain's corporate world are truly respected and admired, many from the Carribean. Many of them marry white men, which is probably the reason this guy is so skanked.
Well sometimes they make stupid rules.
I femember a case some years back where a professional couple in rural England was seeking to adopt a child.
Husband was the local doctor, wife was the Resistered District Nurse. He was white English, she was black Jamacian. One might think these would be the ideal adopting couple of the child in question, a bi-racial girl.
Wife was asked about the problems of being black in Engklish society. She answered that she peronally had not encountered any real problems.
Adoption ruled against, by a 25 year old social worker who declared a 40 year old professional woman has "insufficient racial awareness"
What say you go home to Princeton and get back to buggering the ditzy coeds Bloke?

I thought the Telegraph was more sensible than that.
But as someone suggested above, suppose it were Jamaica. Would not the Jamaicans make decisions based on their own bias? IAC. adoption is a strange game everywhere. The officials in charge are more concerned about control of the process than for the well-being of the child.
He probably is taking Arab Muslim donations, and bringing up , or going to Darfur would end the gravy train..
