It's very rare for a network to "like a concept" so much that they keep an underperformer on the air. These days, you're lucky if you get 13 episodes before they pull the plug on something that doesn't perform to expectations. I've seen (and liked) shows cancelled after one or two.
At least she gets credit for portraying the first drag queen President of the United State.
