Hey AdMod, thanks for letting us play with the troll for so long!
Another one, huh? I think the spring weather gets to their heads.
Makes sense...you would have to put the tar from the tarpits into a container...tarpots!
So you want some discussion....
Here's some food for thought:
I speak only for myself here and my attitude does not reflect the opinions of most posters here at FR.
We did bomb Japan and they had it coming! It worked real well for us and put an end to Japan's desire to make war with the USA again.
If I personally had my way, much of the Mid East would have gotten the same treatment! I kind of miss those good old days.
When the Religion of Peace comes to behead or convert non believers, I hope they visit people with your attitude first. You just can't protect some people from themselves.
In the months following Operation Iraqi Freedom, U.S. forces have found we are told as many as 263 mass graves containing as perhaps as many as 300,000 corpses. Lieutenant General Jay Garner formerly of the Coalition Provisional Authority has been quoted as saying that our troops may one day find as many as one million of Saddam's victims. The role of women long overlooked in Iraq is one that we must examine. Women were brutalized partly in an effort to control their husbands, partly out of a mere uncontrolled hostility. Rape was a State policy and at times videotaped and sent to women's families in order to intimidate them. At other times, the rapes were intentionally committed in front of the families. Women were denied equal education and the basic legal protections to which all human beings are entitled and they were all denied. HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS UNDER SADDAM HUSSEIN: VICTIMS SPEAK OUT
We can't be everywhere and fight every evil government. But when a government like Iraq's commits such heinous crimes against humanity, resists all diplomatic measures, harbors, trains and/or funds our enemies, threatens our allies and poses a threat to our own country, then action seems reasonable.
Typical product of the U.S. system of education. I shudder for my children and future grandchildren.
You ask for debate, but your post shows that debating you would be as cruel as having a knife fight with a quadraplegic.
WOW.
DOPE.
ZOT.
We tell countries what they can and what they can't do. If they don't abide we basically go to war with them and change their government and maybe to an extent their culture for them. Is this not a form of terrorism? To force a country to do something against their will. In my opinion it is, but that's just me.
WE tell countries?? What the heck did we spend so much time at the UN before the war? We don't "basically" [Way way overused word alert... Think before you type,] go to war with anybody before we get all the proper approvals! FWIW, why did your John alKerry and his ilk vote to go? Oh yeah, he was up for reelection.
And haven't you seen the pictures of happy Iraqis -- including women and children -- greeting our troops? If not, why not?? Is it because you only read news releases from press that never leaves the hotel?? We have seen them here. We have looked on the Internet. The pictures are out there.
An it's not just with Iran and Iraq, which are recent acts of this, but over the years America has picked up the title "The World Police", if you go back in history you see several acts of this. Isn't this a bit hypocritical really? I mean what if the sides flopped. What if it was America being invaded (Probably as foreign countries see it, not being liberated as we see it.), what if it was our government being forced to change, our heritage and culture being altered. Can one really say that they would be comfortable with that situation? I would think not, but then again there's always the possibility.
World Police. Umm, because we were asked for HELP???
if you go back in history you see several acts of this.
And what would these be? If you insist on changing the subject from "My current disgust with America; when is the next train out?" to "Let's discuss the vast and varied vocabulary I never bothered to learn, like 'Imperialistic' (or as your set likes to call it) 'Facist.' Or "Neocon." I KNOW these are fun to sit there and call us! Bela Pelosi couldn't be happier! (Of course you know she won the 2005 Award For Best Faxable Speaking Tripe, category Tarring Them With Our Label):
I hear a lot of "Well Iran is a hostile country", I imagine though that foreign countries considered us hostile, their stance would probably come from our recent acts; Afghanistan, Iraq, and now a situation with Iran. Would that mean that we should also be forced to destroy our nuclear weapons, stop all uranium enrichment in America, and not to mention the power shortages that we would start to have if we where stripped of our nuclear power plants.
With all due respect, ARE YOU TOTALLY INSANE?
Have you heard that nutjob in Iran? He already said he would blow up Israel! He has been wetting himself this past month putting on sleazy, Soviet-looking displays of "military might!"
Oh, and Scott? Just a little insight from us? You know, like a bonus? Or when Mom gives you a little more allowance than usual?
When they DO get here for the meet-and-greet session, they don't really care WHAT you "feel" about "things" -- except, of course, to laugh the laugh of a madman BEFORE AND DURING the time they put on their black masks, grab your conditioned hair, tip your head back, AND CUT YOUR THROAT with a SWORD.
Considering the moronic content, such errors were expected.
And you spelled "grammar" wrong as well, DUmmie.
On Iran, More Hawkish Than Bush
Europe is one-upping President Bush on the issue of Iran's nuclear weapon plans. While the prez thinks a real Iranian nuke is up to 10 years away, European officials who hold Iran's technical capabilities in higher regard tell us that Tehran could pull it off in five years. "We think their engineers are better," says an official.
