I don't live in PA but we visit often (family & friends there). Santorum is on my list to send $$ to this year, along with Blackwell in Ohio and Steele in MD. [I think this election year will cause me to go broke! lol]
I'm glad Santorum has dedicated people behind him. I agree with you that he is "worth keeping!"
That is extremely interesting. Jack Wheeler is usually spot-on.
I KNOW! bttt
In light of my post here -- http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1619604/posts?page=56#56 -- I wonder if Jack Wheeler has any idea who might have leaked the intel to James Risen of the NYT, hummmmmmm????
Excerpt from John Gibson's commentary linked below:
"...Next up? Whoever was leaking to James Risen of The New York Times.
His story about the secret NSA wiretapping program probably did damage to national security, because it may have tipped off Al Qaeda that we could listen to their cell phone conversations to people inside this country. ..."

On Friday, the CIA busted one of its own -- http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,192640,00.html -- and charged him or her with leaking classified information.

Libs have one simple rule: anything that undermines Republicans and/or national security for the sake of power is just fine and dandy. I'm serious. With as many problems as the Republicans have, they are dwarfed by the calamity that is the Democratic Party. And it now appears that a number of people in our intelligence and military have direct pipelines and own allegiance to the Donkey Party and their lib flunkies. The Fifth Column Party is a better term for them.

Quote: "We went to war because senior administration officials believe Iraq was involved in 9/11. But as we did that and they tried to articulate it, they heard, and it would come out in the form of disgruntled individuals within the bureaucracies, including the CIA, leaking to the press 'there is no evidence,' this cry always, what the Wall Street Journal called an echo chamber, 'there is no evidence.' ~ LAURIE MYLROIE

Dana Priest has an article about possible CIA secret prisons today in the WaPo. Who is Dana Priest, and why should we believe her?
she is married to William Goodfellow, executive director of the "Center for International Policy". The Center's mission? It seems to be a very left-leaning organization founded by old peace activists. From their website:
Promoting a U.S. foreign policy based on international cooperation, demilitarization and respect for basic human rights The Center for International Policy was founded in 1975, in the wake of the Vietnam War, by former diplomats and peace activists....In the 1990s the Center attracted a number of senior diplomats to its staff and expanded its agenda to include reform of the nation's intelligence agencies.
So Priest today reports on the CIA, while her husband heads a left-wing organization that wants to "reform the CIA". Interesting.
bttt!
Putting that aside, the discovery of McCarthy does make you wonder how many more of her ilk have squirreled themselves into the bureaucracy, from where they seek to undermine the country.
This has been the left's MO for a long time in government, education, and media alike. It's been a three-way power play.
I agree with you. I was listening to Monica Crowley discuss the leak by the CIA agent on TALK Radio today, and she was discussing Dana Priest of The Washington Post receiving a Pulitzer Prize for an article she wrote with classified information leaked to her by the CIA agent. She was also critical of James Risen and Eric Lichtblau of The New York Times. President Bush called the publisher of The NYT to the White House and asked him not to publish their article about 'wiretaps'-- that Osama bin Laden would be reading it too. He refused the President's request, and these two jerks exposed classified intelligence without caring a whit about the danger and damage they were doing to this nation IMO. None of the three should be awarded a Pulitzer Prize for what they've done! James Risen, Eric Lichtblau, and Arthur Sulzberger Jr. should be indicted for the damage they did....again, that's just my opinion.
Somehow Conservatives have got to come together and take the country back from the liberals who are even trying to destroy the very foundation of the nation. Gas prices are escalating and people are blaming Bush; blame the liberals...they have stopped ANWAR and offshore drilling! We could produce our own oil and not rely on foreign oil if we had competent people in Congress.
"I think we need to post the list of Rogue Weasels here, in case something happens to the source. They are the ones who should be investigated and its about time conservative critics of the CIA figured it out."
----
Don't forget Gary Bertnsen (former CIA case officer) and Melissa Mahle (former CIA case officer)
Why do FORMER CIA spooks think we care what they think?!
