Remember that Dana Priest's husband represents Valarie plame's husband for speaking tours. Can you picture this friendly circle and the havoc they can and do sow.

It's because of the old rule that if you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes FACT...
Well, the lies have been flying for 4 years now, and it just keeps getting worse. You can shout until you're blue to many of these folks, and they simply won't believe because they saw it in a movie, so it's got to be true......

(Oh, for the days when "disrespect" was just a noun.)

"Lion in Winter" (1968) with Katharine Hepburn, Peter O'Toole, and Anthony Hopkins comes to mind. And a very young Timothy Dalton. Now that you mention it adding backstabbing boys to Woolf along with a dash of noir neutralizing light heartedness gives you Lion. LOL.

"Sarcasm - the last refuge of an empty mind." --- Yoi, I just noticed that tag. My mother used to say that to me, my brother, and sister back in the 50's. She had little respect for sarcasm, she felt that it was NOT humor at all. She was a pretty serious woman.
That's very interesting that you use that tag.

does make you wonder how many more of her ilk have squirreled themselves into the bureaucracy, from where they seek to undermine the country.I've been wondering about this for ages and to see that question in print is chilling.
There has been questioning in different threads as to who the puppetmaster in the shadows is. I am willing to bet that it is someone whose name we have never heard. After all, who ever heard of this traitor before this weekend?

I've always believed that to be so, but I have seen just the opposite happen -- especially during and since the Clinton Administration. I think Mary McCarthy should be held accountable for her actions and punished more seriously than losing her job. She can always get another job with a liberal think tank. Until people learn there are consequences for illegal behavior, we will just get more of it IMHO.
