If one was to find anti-Muslim sentiment in the United States, where would one go to look? This was the question "Dateline" producers pondered for an upcoming show. The answer apparently, as Michelle Malkin reported on her blog, is a NASCAR racetrack. So the producers decided to recruit willing Muslims to be filmed at a race. After all, Southern white males are, if anything, bigots who hate everyone else not like them.

Yesterday morning, Chris Carlin, the sports guy on the Imus program and who likes to make fun of NASCAR fans, grew very serious about this story when he said, "NASCAR fans are the best and most generous fans you will find anywhere." Or words to that effect.
Imus said the fans would be to busy giving Jeff Gordon the finger and Bernard said they'd probably be too drunk to notice if there were any muzzies around.
The producer who dreamed up this anti-American scheme needs to be fired.
Was the producer fired who put explosives in the gas tank of GM pickup trucks?
Was the producer fired for the Audi unintended acceleration story?
Was the producer fired for the Suzuki Samauri rollover story?
Only the delusional believe that anyone in the MSM has any ethics or standards.
I was watching some network "news" show where they were setting people up on hidden camera to reveal their true feelings about race and other controversial subjects. They were trying to create a scandal apparently.
Seemed like an easy show to produce, required much less work than actually writing something entertaining.
"Dateline" has been doing a great job on the pedophile stings.
"the MSM" is not a person. People make bad choices in every line of work but I don't buy the broad brush term "the MSM."
What the heck is an Imus?
Try coming up with some new material.
You are correct. Just like Muslims, the entire MSM does not have a deliberate liberal bias....just a large number that follow evil leaders.
We need to keep identifying the biased journalists and praise those that report facts.
In this case, of course, it is the mainstream media which collectively holds hateful views and as such, thinks that everyone else holds them too.
True!
You forgot about the Food Lion story where the the TV News Mag was working with union shills to break a story that Food Lion was using tainted meet in their ground beef packages. Naturally Food Lion is not unionized.
What is "the MSM?"
I get tired of that same old line also, who is Tom Cruise, who is britney Spears, who is blah, blah, blah, it gets old.
They might have found what they were looking for at a Hollywood polo match; or, they would have had plenty of derision to film in Martinsville had they included the number '24' as part of the muslim garb.
You would know, no doubt.
More Middle School non-humor.
One of the comments I saw, on one of the blogs, was to the effect of "If you want the guy to get attacked, make him wear a Jeff Gordon t-shirt."
Actually he was, or rather his boss was. This is from 1993
"Michael Gartner, the beleaguered president of NBC News, has fallen on his sword because of the faked crash of a General Motors truck on "Dateline NBC." While Gartner's bosses did not hold him personally responsible for the story about the crash, the network did hire two outside lawyers to investigate the behavior of NBC News and consider the question of account-ability, including what action Gartner took, or didn't take, after the specious report was broadcast. A key decision-maker at NBC says that it was "outrageous" for Gartner to stonewall G.M. and to defend his own news staff even after he learned that someone had hidden miniature rockets on the truck and detonated them just before the collision. Even before Gartner resigned, on March 2nd, he was about to be fired. "He knew about this incident for several days," this man said. "He didn't investigate it in depth. He should have looked into it more, because he was aware that he was being sued before he issued a statement defending News." Then, the last week in February, questions were raised about another report broadcast by NBC News, this one on the effects of logging in Idaho's Clearwater National Forest, and that situation made it even more difficult for Gartner to stay."
As it happens, yes. Don't know about the others.
My first race was at Martinsville. My son and I sat in Chicken Bone Alley and didn't know what we were getting in to until the race started. These folks would give you their last beer, mind you, but they love to throw chicken bones and beer cans at the fence and guys get up on the fence just to give a driver the finger. Great fun.
That pic is just plain scary, D. Zombies. Brrrrrrr.
So, the producer was never fired. The president was let go only after a SECOND biased story about logging was discovered.
This does not sound like an organization that takes truth and honesty very seriously.
Guess which one is Michael Jackson?
See post #21 above. The producer was not fired. The president was, but only after a second story was discovered to be factually flawed.
High standards at NBC.
Maybe "Dateline" should send some Muzzies to a livestock show in Texas and see if someone gives them some documents.
I mean, honestly, listening to "Mr. Jane Fonda" (Ted Turner)
proves that some of these people running the networks are just raving lunatics. The only saving Grace is that he lost an estimated 9 billion on the AOL-Time Warner deal.
Perfect description of the i-man.:)

So does CNN, MSNBC, ABC and CBS.
The should take these same muzzles to Mexico and see if they can sneak them into the US.
does anyone actually watch the alphabet networks news anymore?
No, the joke is Imus. I think my definition is succinct!
LLS
At the end of the current NASCAR season the NBS contract to televise part of the races expires and will not be renewed.
The poor quality of the coverage and the constant barrage of lengthy commericals makes me wonder if the decision to not renew the NBS contract came from NASCAR.
Pay Back Time from the spiteful media?

Sorry I don't know how to post the cartoon.
LOL! OK now, whose playing with Photoshop?
Your definition is not original, not funny, childish, and stupid.
Cox & Forkum agree with you

Upon going to their site, I see that their cartoon is titled, "Race Baiting". Ba Da BOOM!
Did somone pee in your oatmeal this morning leadpenny? What a f'in grouch.
I wonder if the newbies have yellow tape on their butts?
Isn't that a Nascar tradition?
Cheers - Dinah
I received, the other day, my regular cold call for the local dinosaur news print. The caller asked if I wanted the paper. I asked if they'd hired any conservative reporters or if they were printing any conservative stories.
"You don't really think the paper is biased, do you?" The caller asked.
I laughed hard, "You don't believe they're not do you?"
He hung up.
They are delusional.
Responding in kind and telling the truth. Couldn't be happier.
Michael Gartner thought he did, at least briefly.
Oh No! ABC fabricates news? Illusions shattered. Guess I'll just have to rely on CBS and NBC for news that is not fabricated.
(Sarcasm Off)
And it turned out that the shills working with the network were buying meat, taking it home, storing it unrefrigerated and then returning it to the stores. Frame up job.
1. A Prayer
2. The Star Spangled Banner is sung
3. As the last note of the National Anthem is sung United States Military Aircraft fly over
4. Up to 190,000 fans roar their approval
Things that the MSM does their best to discredit.
Broadcasting NASCAR has to drive the MSM up the wall !
