This is usually nothing or very little in the mainstream media about murdered Serbs.

I never stood up for the Serbs while we were bombing them because not fully understanding the whole situation I fell back on my partiality to the Croatians, and my view of the Serbs as Soviet clients. What we did though was insane. We should have actively backed their wielding power over Kosovo. I regret having been on the wrong side.

Do you have Croat friends or maybe have you been there on vacation is why you like them?

A lot of croat friends as a kid, plus I always figured they were a bit more anti-communist.

Croats and Serbs in the US usually are dedicated Christians and they are almost always fierce anti-Communists.

Had this been some of Clinton's beloved Muhammedans, this would have been a New York Slimes front-page headline.

Tito was a Croat and he was the father of Yugoslavian communism and he ordered the murder of the ANTI-Communist, Serbian Chetnik General Mihailovic after WWII.

The Good Serb General and his army of Serbian anti-German patriots saved over 500 American and British flyers from the nazis.

The Croats, Bosnian and Albanian were German allies. In fact they all organised SS divisions to support their German allies.

All that being said, Kosovo's Serb Christians do not deserve to be treated so badly by the west... And, THANK YOU very much for your kind words for them.

Please, Take a look, for yourself, at the Kosovo.com and see how badly the Church and the Christians have fared under the tyranny of the Albanian islamic KLA.

REGARDS, Lion

As I understand it, Slobodan Milosevic, the Serb leader, was a Communist when Yugoslavia was a Soviet satellite.

Looks like muslims don't honor the geneva conventions...

They kidnap, torture, then slaughter their captured as a matter of policy.

To elaborate a bit more... I had a certain relationship with a bunch of croatians when I was a kid and a teenager. It was literally a "other side of the fence" thing where I lived in a fancy neighborhood and on the other side of the fence was a blue collar street. I became best friends with a croatian kid. His father and his fathers friends taught me how to hunt, fish, make wine, etc. I spent many hours freezing my *ss off with them, etc. (and drinking, too). Now, some of them were biased sort of people, they were all hard core anti-communist, and without going into detail weren't exactly apologetic about some relatively recent Croatian history. That is not to defend them, but the point is they really let me into their tight group and I was close with them. For that reason, I was on "their side" against the Serbs.

But that was irrational... even if I was pro-Croatian vs. the Serbs, that conflict was pretty much over when we were bombing the Serbs. I am just one lone freeper, but I was wrong. It is one of the few political positions I have ever regeretted, and for every Serb reading this, I am sorry.

You know, as joan said, the Serbs and Croats in the USA were all anti-commie. So,I am sure your friends were too. And, probably just a little nationalistic as well which happens when folks have to leave their homeland not by choice.

I am not a Serb either, but after figuring out that clinton was a BAD BAD MAN, I decided that I had better check out his foreign policy mistakes.

And THAT is how I came over to seeing that ALL sides in a civil war do bad stuff... but in the Yugoslavian civil war.... ONLY the Serbs were getting bashed by bubba clinton

So, knowing clinton to be a lout... well, I saw through the media hype and came to realise that the Serbs were fighting back after bad stuff was done to them by the kLA in Kosovo.

I too came late to seeing that the 1999 bombing was a BIG CLINTON MISTAKE.

And, I am ashamed that my country is probably going to be the cause of MORE Christians losing their homes, their churches and their Religion's HEARTLAND.

I am so sorry about that, I really am.

Well, the founding father of Communist Yugoslavia, Josip Broz Tito was a Croat, and so were quite a few other Yugoslav communists, no doubt. Yes, Serbs may well have been the largest community in the Yugoslav Communist Party, but the portion of Croats was probably nothing to sneeze at either.

1998?

So Hoppie's buddies were slaughtering Serbs in '98, but the Yugoslav government wasn't supposed to do anything about it,eh?
