Bush departed Washington for his meetings with Fox as an emotional election-year dustup over immigration what he called the "topic du jour" continued to rage in the U.S. capital. The topic du jour???
No wonder he's selling us out, he doesn't even view illegal immigration as anything more than a political football.
To: NormsRevenge
He should visit some ruins here .... Los Angeles, for starters.

Fox treated Bush and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper to an hour-long tour of the ancient Mayan ruinsA foreshadowing, George.
Get your thinking right. I still support you, unlike a lot of fairweather friends around here. But you need a re-education on this subject.

I've been to Chichen Itza. It's an amazingly cool place.
Perhaps Jorge can convince some Mexicans to live there. It's deserted.

It IS the topic du jour.In light of the massive invasion of the nation demonstrated last weekend in LA, illegal immigration IS slightly more grave than your standard "political football" or other fluff "topics du jour"

lol.. No problem..
In a pre-trip interview, Bush said he thought the two sides were "pretty close to a deal a couple of years ago." He said it would not be resolved through public negotiations: "It's going to require some very quiet consultations."
Any bets as to who gets the short end of the taquito?

Way down here you need a reason to move
Feel a fool running your stateside games
Lose your load, leave your mind behind, baby james
Oh, mexico
It sounds so simple I just got to go
The suns so hot I forgot to go home
Guess Ill have to go now
Americano got the sleepy eye
But his bodys still shaking like a live wire
Sleepy señorita with the eyes on fire
Oh, mexico
It sounds so sweet with the sun sinking low
Moons so bright like to light up the night
Make everything all right
Babys hungry and the moneys all gone
The folks back home dont want to talk on the phone
She gets a long letter, sends back a postcard; times are hard
Oh, down in mexico
I never really been so I dont really know
Oh, mexico
I guess Ill have to go
Oh, mexico
I never really been but Id sure like to go
Oh, mexico
I guess Ill have to go now
