Some Islamic clerics had called for his execution, saying Rahman would face danger from his countrymen if he were released.Uh, yeah. You might be in danger so we'll kill you to protect you.

The Invisible Church.I suspect the guards who were assigned to guard the tomb were saying the same thing.

He's either going to get out of the country alive or become St. Abdul Rahman.

Uh, teh judges that demanded his execution WERE "moderates."
The only difference b/w moderate and extreme Islam is the length of their beards.

So . . . they wanted to execute him to protect him from his fellow countrymen? That's a good enough reason . . .

converted from Islam to Christianity for lack of evidence, Lack of evidence? The guy admitted the "crime." If they're looking to save face they could've come up with something more believable than that.

Yep. This is going to happen more and more, though, as the growth of His church will not be stopped.

Lack of evidence."Gen. Shahmir Amirpur, who is in charge of Policharki, confirmed the move and said Rahman had also been begging his guards to provide him with a Bible

Perhaps a flimsy, ill-founded charge deserves a weak basis for dismissal.

What I love about that photo and all the video footage I've seen of him, is how calm he is. He knows he's in God's hands.

The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church!! Jesus will not be stopped, His Kingdom shall fill the whole earth, and the kingdoms of the world have been overtaken by the Kingdom of our God, and His Christ.

I'd say highly likely, those people fought hard to depose those black turbaned fools (many who will die in Gitmo of natural causes or executed after the military tribunals) have had enough of this. Look what happened in Nigeria a few weeks ago. The Christians just went wild and took payback to the extreme. I've noticed that the backlashes that have been coming to the Muslims from the populace in places that they have been occurring (i.e. The Netherlands)have been far more savage and violent than those acts of violence perpetrated by Muslims.
