"And your buddy Clinton did what?"

I'm sure Bubba Bill is skipping hand-in-hand with his lodge brother Bushie in celebration over this.

How do you know there are thousands of criminals at the rally?

How many law abiding American citizens took time out of their day to go support the rights of law breakers? And why would any American citizen do this?

They're here for the American Dream," said Malissa Greer, 29, who joined the crowd estimate by police to be at least 10,000 strong. "God created all of us. He's not a God of the United States, he's a God of the world."

Yeah, Malissa, and with your help, they're destroying the "American Dream" for the rest of us. So, if you think "God is a God of the world" then please take them with you and you all can go live in Iran, or perhaps, Egypt. Let's see you take them and all go live in China, or Russia. Do you really think there is another country on the face of the Earth that would accept all of these people to live in their countries? Hell no they won't, so why should we?

Apparently, thousands.

And why would any American citizen do this?

Why would any American citizen vote for a Dem?

You suggested these people in Phoenix were America citizens and Democrats that are protesting for the rights of law breakers. But I have to ask myself, what party has been in power for years now, and has after all, allowed this situation to arrive at this point?

And finally, are you suggesting this Republican President is honestly 100 percent behind controlling our borders?

Seeing thousands waving mexican flags and demanding 'rights' does not help their case. It just pisses off folk.

You're right. All we hear from illegal aliens is "gimme more". That doesn't go over too well here in California, where the citizens/taxpayers have to cough up 10 billion dollar every year to support the bloodsuckers.

Yes, I suggested some were citizens and some were Democrats.

what party has been in power for years now, and has after all, allowed this situation to arrive at this point?

The Republican Party.

And finally, are you suggesting this Republican President is honestly 100 percent behind controlling our borders?

Absolutely not! In fact I refused to vote for the idiot, due to his position on border security. On this issue, the President has far more Democrat voter support then Republican voter support.

"They are waiving the mexican flag and bold in their shouts to kill "whitey"."

While this crap makes me sick, President Bush DID NOT create this problem.

Your other comments make you look and smell like a moron from a DU sleeper cell.

I'm not saying Bush has done a thing to help this situation. It is my #1 gripe with this administration. I do resent the hell out of being labeled a "Bushbot" because I give the President the benefit of the doubt on most matters. Even moreso, I resent a certain poster inferring that I am somehow responsible for this illegal alien problem because of it.

Posts like sasfras': Baseless attacks with no merit and mindless hyperbole.

"They're here for the American Dream," said Malissa Greer, 29...

The American Dream is rapidly disintegrating for the middle class - but who cares - we can eat mangos! The elites and the invaders will have what is left of the country. Oh, but wait, they don't believe in borders either, what country?

I wonder if it pisses off the President.

What do yo think?

We are now one of the largest Spanish-speaking nations in the world. We're a major source of Latin music, journalism and culture.

Just go to Miami, or San Antonio, Los Angeles, Chicago or West New York, New Jersey ... and close your eyes and listen. You could just as easily be in Santo Domingo or Santiago, or San Miguel de Allende.

For years our nation has debated this change -- some have praised it and others have resented it. By nominating me, my party has made a choice to welcome the new America.

As I speak, we are celebrating the success of democracy in Mexico.

George Bush from a campaign speech in Miami, August 2000.

You can read the speech here.

Here is an excerpt of a good critique of that speech:

In equating our intimate historic bonds to our mother country and to Canada with our ties to Mexico, W. shows a staggering ignorance of the civilizational facts of life. The reason we are so close to Britain and Canada is that we share with them a common historical culture, language, literature, and legal system, as well as similar standards of behavior, expectations of public officials, and so on. Wonder how many illegals are involved these rallies? Seems to me that if ICE were organized they could just round them up and send them home.

I wonder if he's happy about the protestors - after all, his dream of a border-less world IS coming true.

Probably not...only hard working people trying to make a better life are coming to America looking for work while our young men are fighting a half a world away keeping the terrorist out. /sarcasm

I hope they scream, burn American flags and wave Mexican and La Raza flags.

Didn't the crowd at a soccer game in Mexico stand up and chant "alQaeda, long live alQaeda" at the sight of the American flag?

Or something like that. It was about a year ago when the American team had just defeated the Mexican team, or thereabouts.

The protestors today were shouting "brown power" while waving Mexican flags, saying all Europeans are invaders who should leave, and angrily yelling that they won't turn in their brothers and sisters for deportation because there is no such thing as a border.

So I guess it seems you're saying the people marching in support of the law breakers were the Presidents supporters.

That's correct.

President Bush refuses to give credit to the Minutemen, instead he calls these heroes, "Vigilantes".

How pathatic is this, when senior citizens in lawn chairs can do a better job defending our borders than Bush and Chertoff are doing..
