"fantasy"

I was talking to one of my best friends the other day. My friend hates Republicans and was on a rant blaming Bush and Republicans for every imaginable problem under the sun. I mentioned that he feels that way because all the news he hears and reads is mostly from liberal Big Media. He screamed at me "what about Fox News?" When I got done laughing, I told him that Fox is watched by only a tiny percentage of the viewing public.Big Media still draws the lions's share and much more of the viewing audience. He quickly changed the subject.

People like my friend truly believe simply because there is ONE! network that isn't liberal, the media is balanced in it's coverage. In fact conservative messages only get a tiny percentage of the market. We have a long haul ahead of us. Fox, talk radio, and the internet are just starts.

Yes, it ignores the old saying that a soldier isn't happy unless he's b*tching.

In order to be a liberal today, you must believe that you are smarter than the 'average' American.

Otherwise you must recognize that liberal ideology is clearly understood and rejected by the majority.

It is that simple.

What I was more referring to is that soldiers don't come home and go around complaining to everybody about what they had to do or insist that they be thanked for it... and they certainly don't bark for the approval of the likes of Belzer.

What happens within their own ranks could, of course, differ greatly.

And this yutz is going to tell us what we should be doing regarding Iraq.

I heard Laura Ingraham's clip and heard his comments about the troops being out of works poor unable to understand.

Coming from a dumbass who barely got out of junior college I would prefer to discuss the subject with my son a Marine Sgt who graduated with a business degree from Miami University of Ohio. They show their stupidity every time they open their mouths.

The reports I've read say that the soldiers in Iraq are highly qualified, intelligent and well educated, not to mention motivated. It's not the old cliche of "they couldn't get a job so they joined the army".

This Belcher, whoever he is, has been on another planet, or under a rock. Or he belched his brains out.

you are kidding? Kerry was only a few thousand votes from winning Ohio and the Presidency. The left is extremely dangerous and dominate most institutions -- state, local and federal bureaucrats rove the country daily harassing citizens. Legislatures pass laws forcing Wal-Mart to further the cause of Socialism. Government schooling brainwashes generation after generation. The left is far from defeated. The Republican leadership does NOT have a clue that the left in this country must not only be defeated in elections but humiliated and repudiated. Year after Year the vast majority of Republicans are slowing morphing this once great Republic into a nanny state Democracy. The single indicator of success for our side is to observe the year-to-year expenditures at all levels of government. I see absolutely no trend that favors our side, the side of Liberty.

Michael Moore is either a demagogue sent by the destroyers of America or a
very retarded imbecile.

What comes out of his mouth and cameras is pure, reeking refuse.

Belzer has been touting his "20 newspapers a day" routine for decades to flaunt his intellect. I kid you not, he used to be a regular guest on Howard Stern and even Stern laughed at how stupid Belzer was. "I read 20 newspapers a day and have a place in France", right man, that makes you a genius!!

The left is extremely dangerous and dominate most institutions --

First, the above is true because we just elected the first Republican majority in the House, Senate and White House in the last 50 years.

Second, you see the glass as half empty. I see things differently.

For example, we have the first administration to defend the Second Amendment as an INDIVIDUAL RIGHT..

We have the first labor department to force unions to reveal their expenditures of members' dues.

We have 38 states with concealed carry laws on the books. (a conservative principle)

We have a very prosperous economy despite a major terrorist attack and multipe natural disasters striking our nation. (due to conservative tax cuts)

We are fighting the terrorists "over there" with our military rather than here at home with our lawyers.

Spending is out of control, however, we have even brought the liberals to our side in criticizing it!

We have real conservative justices on the Supreme Court.

We have John Bolton at the UN beating away at the old institution.

We have Condoleeza Rice restructuring the State Dept.

We have Porter Goss revamping the CIA.

I see progress on all fronts. These things take time because gov't is a behemoth. However, the future is bright.

Belzer-- a high school jerk who was not properly reprimanded when it could have made a difference. So, he and we suffer for the rest of his life. He has ingeniously found a niche where he can be rewarded for being an imbecile: playing one in fictional accounts on TV.

Our country pays an enormous cost as a result of the destruction of education after WWII. Teaching has been captured and left to dreamers and idlers who have been smitten through the successive generations with more and more corrosive doctrines.

We call the LaX Trib "The Daily Mistake".

Last week, some poor guy was trying to hand out free copies in the grocery store in Viroqua. No one was taking one.

You bring up some very good points that indeed should give hope. Liberty is a very precious gift. The left worships at the alter of the state. Their God is the State and its Earthly incarnation is rabid Socialism. When all is said and done, the single best indicator of the future of Liberty is the size of government. I see NO sign of it shrinking at any level. As Thomas Jefferson succinctly stated, The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground.

It would be fitting for Mr. Belzer to encounter a US Marine, fresh from Iraq, on some city street in the very near future. I'm interested to find out if the wisdom he's acquired from reading "twenty newspapers a day" would enable him from getting popped in the mouth.

My favorite Belzer moment was when, on some late-nite show, Hulk Hogan put Belzer in some sort of sleeper hold and the dude just dropped like a rock. . out cold. Mr. T was standing next to the Hulkster laughing his ass off as Belzer's head bounced off the stage floor.

When Belzer woke up. . .he was totally pissed and I think it went to a lawsuit. . .WAY TO GO HULKSTER!!!!
