BELGRADE, March 17 (Xinhuanet) -- Over 50 foreign delegations will attend the funeral of former Yugoslav leader Slobodan Milosevic on Saturday, a senior official with Milosevic's Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) said on Friday.

The funeral to be held in Milosevic's hometown of Pozarevac, some 80 km east of Belgrade, will be attended by some dignitaries, said Miomir Ilic, the SPS's regional leader in Pozarevac.

Ilic told the official Tanjug news agency that the dignitaries include Russian Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov, Russian State Duma Vice-President Sergei Baburin, former U.S. state prosecutor Ramsey Clark, and Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko.

Ilic said over 100,000 people from Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnian Serb republic would be present at the funeral ceremony for Milosevic, who died on March 11 in the detention unit of the UN war crimes tribunal in The Hague.

Earlier on Friday, the tribunal's President Fausto Pocar said in The Hague that provisional results have shown that Milosevic, 64, was not poisoned but died of heart attack.

According to unofficial estimates, some 30,000 people have paid their respects to Milosevic, whose coffin was placed on display at the Revolution Museum in Belgrade since Thursday afternoon, SPS Vice President Branko Ruzic said on Friday.

He said that Milosevic's coffin would be exhibited until noon on Saturday, when his remains would be transferred to Pozarevac for burial. Enditem

Maybe they'll throw a "counter funeral" for the likes of George Soros, bin Laden, Bill Clinton and Christiane Amanpour to attend.

[Weren't these the same guys who wanted to hang Milosevic?]

The very same people who love communism but hated their communist cohort for defending his own Serbian people from the Bosnian muslims who intended to destroy and overun Serbia as they are Europe. The Serbs were our ally in WWII and fought against the nazis while the Crotans embraced the nazis and murdered Jews and Serbs amongst them. The Bosnians attacked Serbia after the war ended and committed many atrocities against the Serbs who eventually struck back. Milosevic fought for his people but made the terrible mistake of being a stinking communist; some believe that he was murdered by the international communist court that realized they were not able to prosecute him before the nations without their agenda coming out. Then the communists of all nations, many American democrat communist progressives, bemoan his death only because he was a communist who did not fall in line with their one world order agenda.
Sharks eat their own.

One thing you notice here is that it's mainly socialists like Clarke who grieve over Milosevic.

George Soros and Bill Clinton will not grieve over Milosevic. They were his nemesis ( in alliance with the jihadies ).

The Soros people ( move on ) canceled an antiwar protest a few months ago because the Ramsey Clarke people were going to be there with signs protesting Soros' war against the Serbs. Say what you want about Clarke but he doesn't pick and choose the wars for which to protest which at least makes him a believable war protester where as Soros is a war starter.

Can we just lose Ramsey Clark's records? When he comes back to the U.S. we could just say, "Sorry, no record of a Ramsey Clark here, bye!"

"former U.S. state prosecutor Ramsey Clark,"

Maybe someone can push him in the hole also, right before the backhoe starts filling it in.

Many people that have Germanic and Roman Catholic leaning seem to have an inbred hatred of Serbs.

The Miloshevich-Saddam connection doesn't hold - for reasons too numerous to elaborate on here. I lived in Serbia for about 20 years. I never supported Miloshevich and I welcomed the news of his downfall. However, I strongly disagree with any theories equating him with that murderous maniac Hussein.

As for being a war criminal: after four years, his guilt had never been established. The prosecution had dozens upon dozens of "witnesses" and 100,000s of pages of "evidence" yet they couldn't prove any of the charges that had been brought against him. He should have been tried in Serbia. 1) The people of Serbia would've learnt the full extent of the damage he'd caused to the country 2) He would've lived to be sentenced.

Ramsey Clark would have attended Hitler's funeral had there been one.
